One size fits most but for kids I would recommend to stop your increase row on round 6! Any questions or comments leave them down below! I promise to get better at my responses!

6.5mm hook

Love your tutorial, it would be helpful to know how many stitches each row should have
Thank you! I will try to do that for other projects, this one I know for a fact the last row has over 1,000 stitches and honestly I wouldn’t count that 😂

I am going to try your technique for crocheting in the round. That seam and that hole have been driving me crazy. I always have trouble with counting and losing or having too many stitches.

its okay we all crochet definitely ! I would say dont work all the way to round 8 stop at round 6 and then do your normal rows

I had the same issue ❤I took mine down to the 7th Round/ Row; then 1 dbl in each stitch for the next 3 rounds; Sc decrease om round 11; then on to the ruffles for next 3-4 rounds rounds ❤ great improvement for me

For some reason mines keeps on curving inwards 💔🙁

When she says 2dc she’s doing an increase 2 double crochets in one chain

did you decrease to pull the hat tighter together and put three double crochet in every stitch?
I did everything you said but,where was I supposed to tighten it at the beginning? I wish I could show you a picture of it

If you try this pattern again, when the circle fits the perimeter of your head. In The next row, crochet into the front loops only. This will create more of a hat shape. Also try one more round of decreases if you don’t like the fit.
