I feel like if I don’t comment on your video it will haunt me for life!! I have seen 4 chelly hat tutorials and each time I have started the magic circle and ended there but I started with your tutorial at 1am and by 6am i finish my first hat!!!!! Your tutorial was amazing, you took your time and you did your thing. XOXO
I just finished my hat and it came out amazing!! The written pattern and your instructions were very easy to follow with some minor adjustments for size. You’re a real one for sharing! ❤️
This tutorial was short, sweet and to the point. I chose it based on the time because it's about half of what the other are. I don't understand why theirs are so long, and I'll never find out. I've completed my hat, and I'm in love with it. I love how you gave us measurements, as opposed to just the amount of rounds because it turns out that my tension is a bit more tight than yours. Thanks so much!!!
I just brought some random yarn and a crochet needle from dollar tree to see if i can make this hat 😭😭I can’t pay $50 for this on Etsy r.n 😂hopefully I can do it 🤞🏽I have to play the video in slow motion 😂
@@porterphanalialo7983 I struggled after like 3 min into the video 😂I didn’t like that DT yarn think I need it it be a little bit chunky to actually wear but I’ll use it to continue practicing
You are so good at this and you really know how to teach I learnt how to crochet a hollow out croptop and a hat with truffles in 2 days because of your video❤❤❤oh my word I am so thankful...please don't stop posting these tutorials ❤❤❤
I love you soooo much for this tutorial! I’ve seen tons and nobody explained and walked through the steps as well as you! (This was my first project and it turned out beautifully 🥹) *mwah*
Love this tutorial it’s very easy to follow for someone who’s a beginner beginner 🫶🏾 I just wanted to see if it’s possible to share how many stitches there should be row by row? Since I’m starting out I want to make sure I’m checking my work as I go.
I came here from TikTok 😂 someone mentioned you and I had to come. I didn’t want to do the magic circle because I assumed it to be complex 😂😂 (it’s not that bad for my first try) finally my pattern looks like everyone else’s! Thanks to you. It’s a bit hard to follow since I’m literally just starting but it is still manageable! I’m not counting the same chains at all 😂😂 (I have no clue why) but I’m still tagging along. I’m enjoying your tutorial and challenging myself and I’m loving it so far. Thanks again ❤
Yes you can but the measurements will change. You will have to follow the pattern by inches not rows. For example 2 rows for me might be 4 for you if you are using a smaller yarn size😊
Although, a very helpful video I feel like you could have made it a little easier to understand. Instead of saying “put the third and fourth stitch together” you could have said “do two double crochets in the third stitch all around” also please add time slots for what row your on so I can stay with you.
I tried it and it was too wide should I change the hook ? But the numbers was correct everything corresponded but it’s just too wide that it didn’t curve or is it that my work was too loose ?

Hi. Please, what’s the circumference of your head since you used 9.5 inches?
Thank you sooo much you just made it easier❤❤ but I have a question can you use any size of yarn??
Yes you can but the measurements will change. You will have to follow the pattern by inches not rows. For example 2 rows for me might be 4 for you if you are using a smaller yarn size😊

Instead of saying “put the third and fourth stitch together” you could have said “do two double crochets in the third stitch all around” also please add time slots for what row your on so I can stay with you.
Noted💗
What am I doing wrong if the hat doesn’t start to fold
Do you mean for the brim of the hat ?
For the second row for the ruffles did you also crochet three double crochet in one or you just followed the pattern
If I want to make a smaller one, do I just add less rows to the diameter?
I love this
Please is there a particular yarn to be used .
I'm watching from Ibadan do you have any idea where I can get the yarn and crochet pin
thank you soo much, for this tutorial, but i was wondering if you could use thinner yarn to make it and if the result would come out the same?
Yes, you can use a thinner yarn
But you will have to measure in inches because the number of rows might not be the same measurement as mine since I used I larger yarn size💗
Thank you so much for replying, but i figured out a way to make the yarn thicker by doubling it, and it worked just fine❤❤
Wow you’ve helped me so much! I used to be intimidated by hats but I’ve gotten far with your tutorial! Thankyou !
