    Really appreciate your in depth review of the Nebula by Peak. ThinkingI might just have to get one for myself. Looks pretty solid. Thanks again bro.

    Got the nebula test it out the machine rca cord it came with kept sliding of during tattoo process gotta find a good rca cord

    • @CoreyHollins
      @CoreyHollins  4 роки тому +1

      stephen Gomez sometimes I have that issue when putting an rca on some machines have you tried just squeezing the connecter on the rca cord that goes on your machine with a pair of pliers to “tighten” the connection between the two? It’s helped me before as some cords don’t match up well with some machines I’ve noticed a few can be a couple millimeters off which can be a loose connection

    I wanna get a good machine. A nice rotary for black and grey, what would u prefer? I was thinking of this or the inkjeta. Idk.

    • @CoreyHollins
      @CoreyHollins  5 років тому +1

      The inkjecta is pretty nice but I have to say overall this machine works great for me! I would definitely recommend trying out the wand shader by bishop. but this peak nebula is an all around great machine for various styles

      @@CoreyHollins I just bought a cnc machine. And it's a 4.0mm they sent. Is this good for shading or color? Or lining. Idk if 4.0mm is soft or harder. Thanks

    • @CoreyHollins
      @CoreyHollins  5 років тому +1

      So the stroke of your machine effects how hard (punchy) it is in a way. If you had like a 3mm stroke it could be great for shading pushing small liners.. a 4mm could be great for shading as well but depending on the machine and how it’s driven you may need to lighten your hand more to shade or be more cautious in a way to get smoother transitions in a way.. but I would say a 4mm would be good for color packing/lining with medium sized line weights/needle groupings.. I have a direct drive rotary that is a 4.5 and I use it for lining mostly it will push everything up to a 1214RL so far with little effort but there are a lot of other variables too that effect what your trying to achieve like voltage, the machine, what type of drive the machine is, if it’s coil or rotary.. the list could go on..

      @@CoreyHollins imma try that oral nebula. I think u had it. That's a good shader right? When I get my money up I'll buy the inkjeta. The 4.0mm Is a cnc machine.i got it from amazon. It's a cnc hawink I think, From Germany or some place. Lol. It's not a japanes motor. Cost like 200$. Also if u have a facebook. U can add me. Check out my work, still learning u know. Thanks. Did you do with the nebula 3RL stipple whip shading? Cause I couldn't find any info in the description of the claimer for what is the lowest CPS the machine is possible to run at? This would be a useful information for me in purpose if it is a good machine for low herz /cps stipple whip shading....
    Thx, appreciate it!

    how did u solve the self turn on the grip when adjusting its lenght? mine turns the whole grip around before getting the click adjust

    • @CoreyHollins
      @CoreyHollins  5 років тому

      Dave Diaz that’s odd. Mine stuck the first few times slightly when using it but I would say that maybe it just needs to be broken in a little? I didn’t find mine sliding in the vice at all. One thing you could probably do is hold the top of the grip with your machine hand and then turn the bottom half of the grip with your stretching hand to keep the torque In your hands and not on the vice maybe?

    Is this able to push 14 rl as easily as a coil?

    • @CoreyHollins

      Gabriel Guidera yes I’m actually using a 1018RL on a tattoo I’m doing atm. And the machine is set at 5mm stroke and is running at 8v

    • @CoreyHollins
      @CoreyHollins  4 роки тому

      stephen Gomez I’ve tattooed with both. And honestly I feel like I could do the same tattoo with this as I could using a hawk. Lately I have been using the Bishop wand tho. I like that machine a lot. But this one is still running strong from the time I got it however I mainly use it for power lining now
