  • Despite historic Medicare Part D reforms passed as part of the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, patients still need charitable patient assistance programs.
    Reforms like the $2,000 out-of-pocket cap for prescription drugs and the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (previously referred to as “smoothing”) going into effect in 2025 are great first steps, but national polling and analysis find that many adults will still struggle to afford their out-of-pocket prescription drug costs.
    That’s why the PAN Foundation will continue to be there for thousands of patients across the country each year. By helping them with their out-of-pocket costs for prescription medications, PAN allows these patients to focus on what matters most-receiving the treatment they need and deserve.
