    Make a special - USA Track & Field vs the NFL. And have wide receivers run hurdles, Defensive lineman do shot put, and finish with the 60 meter run featuring Tyreek vs Noah (and others).
    Also have the Track & Field athletes learn some football.
    Make it fun, like the old Battle of the Network Stars

      Many have addressed Tyreek’s wrong doing in the situation. The police officer’s JOB is to de escalate conflict with the citizens they’re sworn to protect and serve. So more responsibility must be placed at their feet. Which is exactly why the officer was immediately placed on leave.

    I would certainly package swimming and diving with track and field, as they both are popular Olympic sports. A logical third choice would definitely be gymnastics, but I would choose Strongman. It's a growing niche sport with a large international audience.

    When I was growing up in the 80's Track & Field (in England) felt like a big deal, whereas today it doesn't feel like many people give 2 f's bout the sport... Sad for the sport, but I don't think people have the attention span to watch an evening of Athletics on the TV anymore.

    There is NFL fast and then there is U.S track team fast. Check the times the U.S women track team are running these days. Over half of the NFL's DB's couldn't keep up with them on a deep fly route in man coverage.

    • @macmoney88
      @macmoney88 Місяць тому

      I suspect if you put those same women on grass with a helmet and pads, and also not just running straight line and having to open up the hips…that track speed gets negated a little bit. Check what happened when Usain Bolt practiced with the Texans years ago. I will agree that on a track Noah would beat tyreek though. But put the track athletes on the Football field and they don’t have the same wow factor unless they already played football like marquis Goodwin

    • @marcelluswileydatdude
      @marcelluswileydatdude  Місяць тому +1

    In the 100m final at the Paris Olympics, the slowest time ran was 9.91s. From what I have been able to find, Hill's fastest 100m time is 10.19s (although he did run a 9.98s wind assisted) - put into stark perspective, 10.19s wouldn't have even seen him get through the 1st round of qualification at the Paris Olympics.
    Hill is delusional if he thinks he could beat Lyles over 100m - doubt he would even beat him if Lyles ran with Covid. Hill would most likely be competitive from the start (Lyles isn't a super quick starter) but past 60m Hill would be running on empty and by 80 (when the top sprinters tend to pour it on) he would be going backwards
    Think he would struggle even if the race was over 60m too.

    • @marcelluswileydatdude
      @marcelluswileydatdude  Місяць тому

      That’s a solid breakdown! Hill’s times really do put things in perspective. Lyles has that elite speed, especially in the latter part of the race. It’d be tough for Hill to keep up, even over shorter distances.
