This is a great video- just one thing- High Plains Homestead no longer has a restaurant.

What would be interesting would be to restore the railroad right-of-way between Fort Robinson and downtown Crawford for use as an excursion train shuttle between the two points. The project might include recreating the Fort Robinson railroad station, if it existed..

Last year my son and I visited the Trailside Museum at Fort Robinson. We are interested in their fantastic fossils displays.
One of my best friends from Crawford raised the money to display the two fighting mammoths on exhibit. I've spent many times fossil hunting in the badland and loved the Coffee burgers at Harrison. Any one visiting north west Nebraska should check it out and the Fossil Exhibit at the Agate Springs Bone Bed National Park.

Great video.....nice job. Might I ask how you narrated over the video. I too have created a Ft. Robinson Video and normally add text with the information, but I find that can be distracting from the actual video itself. Your help is appreciated.....thank you

Are there job opportunities in Crawford for IT?

Melted castle mountain indeed. Another example of what giants built in the past and now stand as "buttes" and such, while we teach the ignorance of what geology insists isn't what our eyes immediately tell us, but a geologic process that can never be verified as it takes millions of years to accomplish such feats. Just trust us, right angles and pyramidal tops happen... over time. And then we pass along that ignorance to future generations.

Yes, indeed, but it was a POW camp holding German soldiers, many from the Afrika Korps.
