2010-2012 Ford transit Remote Programming
The Transit is acting like the starter is bad. It does not even try to turn over. We did some research and tried a bunch of suggested fixes that didn't work. We cleaned the grounding, reprogrammed the key, replaced the battery in the key FOB. Disconnected the battery, tested the starter.

Have a 2010 connect. Went out this morning same thing. Replaced battery in the key. Nothing. Disconnected the battery. Nothing. Found this video. BINGO fucking 10 amp fuse number 14 I believe did the trick. Thanks so much man. Saved my ass today.

UPDATE: It Worked!!! After 5 hours stuck on side of road trying everything I could find on the internet, I came across this video, went straight to that fuse & it was blown! I swapped it out & it started right up!! Just got home 30 min ago! This video is gold!!!

To prevent the hubcap from flying off take 1 medium size plastic zip ties and put it thru hubcap and rim and that will secure the hubcap from flying off
Thats a very good ideal. I already have self tapping screws holding the fenders on.

I feel your pain,. First thing was the back door hinge that rusted closed, then the pain started falling off. Throttle body sensor blew leaving me stranded. Then the palstics on the front end started to disintegrate. Now th mofo won't turn over. Garage replace the starter. Went 2 hours to the city where it won't frickin turn over again!! I really hope this fuse helps me!

My gf's 2015 escape is a pain in the ass too. The battery is literally up against the firewall. You have to remove half of the air intake and a upper engine bay support bar to get to it. As to your fuse issue, unfortunately a fuse on most vehicles will go bad eventually, because they are cheapest thing on a vehicle. You're lucky you only have that many, i have twice as many on my Charger. Half in the engine bay and half in the truck next to the battery.
That is how my truck is.
My 2012 did similar thing pulled into gas station, then nothing lights up everything, battery fine , this is second time, 5-10 min starts?..

Any solution for me, change the battery, the truck starts but the key doesn't want to come out when I turn it off and I'm desperate it's not the fuses I need help

What fuse was that
Its the #14 10 amp fuse. I carry xtra 10 amp fuses now. I do not know what caused that fuse to blow.
