@@colbypassadore7161 definitely busier than I would play, but its intriguing to hear this bands rendition, matt included. Hes an great drummer who has put in a lot of time to perfect his style. A lot of people copy it too. Even before they were a big headlining band, and so that says something alone.

Converge and Alexisonfire were often called metalcore for some reason, but when i hear the term, I think As I Lay Dying, Trivium, Haste the Day, Destroy the Runner, It Dies Today, All that Remains... All those bands had a pretty uniform sound back around 2005 - and that sound is what metalcore is.

Just my opinion, but I’d say they are one of the most consistent metal bands of this generation! Definitely check out their new work if you haven’t already! AND they just re-released Leveler with all re-recorded tracks with slightly different styles and featured a few other artists as well! It’s soo good!
