  • Tailwheel Tuesday!
Today we discuss the basic VFR instrumentation for flight, and show how our cockpit is set up with just the basics, allowing the pilot/student to focus on flying the airplane through other senses, thus honing their basic stick & rudder skills!

Good presentation. Very clear and organized. In learning to fly I've been in an Aeronca Champ. Next I expect to help a friend reassemble a Citabria and hopefully fly it too.

That aircraft was made by Bellanca. American Champion did not start making planes until 1990. I had a '74 7ECA and am considering reentering aviation and shopping around for a 7GCAA. Have never flown one, but it might be worth the several hour drive to come over and take some dual. Nice looking plane!

Correct! Although they are commonly referenced as American Champion since they currently hold the Type Cert., but it was originally a Bellanca product. We would be happy to get you a couple hours of dual. For additional information on the aircraft and our contact info, visit our website; www.walteraviation.com. Thanks!!

killer vid and enjoyed it! Thanks for giving all the in between info. It helps for a fuller understanding! Thinking of adding a tailwheel rating, local flight school has had a 7ECA for little while now, unbeknownst to me!! excited! wanted it a long time.
