Sat in my car in a cold dark Morrisons car park on the way home from work and i had to listen to this twice, sublime vocals and guitar. Ill be listening to this when i get home and light the woodburner, open a bottle and for a few minutes all will be good with the world👍
Wait whut? "Woodburner" What do you mean by woodburner? Where do you live? I've been in Montana since the late 70s and when I moved here most people used wood fired stoves for heat. Some kids I went to school with didn't even have electricity. It's illegal now to burn wood for heat now in my city, for good reason. I dated a gal in high school that cooked on a wood fired oven/range and she was a damned good cook.
How someone with such great talent can fly under the radar for so long and hardly get any notice is beyond me . Just think how many more like Chris are out there that we haven't heard of, how many missed their calling it just kills me to think of all those lost tracks, riffs, drum lines, and lyrics we will never know. Because some kid had to go to war or didn't have the right person leading them the right way, sorry for ranting
Thank you, UA-cam algorithm, for steering me in here when I was totally looking at something else. It's wonderful to see young musicians playing the old stuff and giving it their own twist.
This week I heard someone say: "the problem with music today is that nobody can play a guitar solo". This guy is amazing. I need to pass this video on to my friend. It gives me hope that we still have rock guitar players that get it... Nice Job Chris!
It's been a tough year for me personally, and honestly this solo made me feeling the first pangs of hope and optimism I felt in quite a while. Thanks Chris, your music moves me.
The spiritual and emotional connection that man has with his guitar is something most will never be able to achieve. When they do, they will play as good as Chris.
I see Chris Buck in a video and i hit the like button instantly. Of course i watch the video after and am never disappointed. Brilliant player with so much passion and soul in the notes he plays.
Chris Buck, the most underrated, unrecognised, under appreciated guitarist of our time… He is just brilliant. Up there with David Gilmour, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, maybe not Peter Green or Gary Moore, but excellent anyway…
I'm not gonna say names like Jimmy Hendrix or Steve Ray Vaughan but I'm know their up there smiling down on u brother. Amazing absolutely amazing can't get enough of hearing u play
Your voice is like an angel❤️ And the guitar player know his feel! Without thinking, just awesome feel! Superb, I like this harmony and playing, where you don’t have to think about the changes (chords), but just now them, hear them and can play soul, blues and feel. The rhytmn section is good too, they are letting them thrive, which is good🙏. Real musicians everyone!👍🏼👍🏼
This should have over a million views! It won’t be long, and it will. So This is obviously the template that John Mayer used for his solo for Gravity (dreams to remember), and I’ve seen Mayer do it live more than once, and kill it. I can tell you after hearing Mayer do this live and on UA-cam etc. many times, that Chris Buck’s version is better! Never thought I’d see the day. Fucking incredible 🔥🔥🔥
Dam!! !❤️ Like That Voice needs lot more Volume Beautiful Voice needs to hear it music volume needs lowered when she's singing don't Drown Her Out Great Music just don't Drown the Vocals the Song would then be a Big Hit!!! 💓

This is so good. I have recently been visiting a lot of covers of this epic song, and now this one. What an excellent guitar man. I have been lamenting that the kids no longer have the music, but then, thanks to youtube, and the many excellent musicians and singers who are for now, covering the old classics and greats, as good or better, and they will be making new music. Lots of them, now I know one more, Chris Buck. Add him to Josh Turner (guitar), Billy Strings, Marcus King, to name the current few in my brain. And because I am a drummer from long ago, around about 1960, I must include Sina Doering, the little drummer girl, now really come of age. The music is still here, you just have to look for it amongst the trash. ua-cam.com/video/XxeE4eouFSQ/v-deo.html And somebody said, Dreams to Remember would have been a killer Janis Jopin cover. I would have loved to hear Janis Joplin deliver this song. With all the AI doing its thing, maybe I will.
Tomaatti That’s not possible. Could listen to that every day! Chris is a guitar players player! If you don’t like please go listen to one of the 5 million edm garbage bands or the no talent bands that don’t have solos because they wouldn’t know how. They only know three chords but mom said they were good. They have the hair and can sing in tune and girls wouldn’t know talent from a hole. You’ll have lots of annoying teenagers to hang out with in that world.
@@BeefNEggs057 Wow, thanks for response. I like Chris playing alot and his flow, but I like as a musician myself give more room for others and when solos get too long and flow starts to repeat itself, I find it rather dull or something. Sorry, If you find my comment an insult or something I apologize.
Personally, I like it. I’d rather have a extended solo that fits into the song, than ripping a solo alone on stage for 10-15 minutes. This all depends on the style of music of course, but I think it fits nicely here.
Tomaatti.... I think you have to take it in the context of where it appears in the set - I've seen B&E several times and for a lot of the tracks Chris's playing is understated and exists only to serve to tune; by the time Dreams to Remember makes an appearance (towards the end) the audience is more than ready for a solo to be ripped and unleashed. It's usually Chris's only long solo in the set, so I can accept that if you listen to this track in isolation that may be your overall impression, but in the context of an entire gig it fits perfectly and doesn't seem out of place at all.
If Chris Buck wasn’t such an amazing guitarist, everyone would be talking about how beautiful this woman’s voice is.
She has an amazing voice as well as Chris is an amazing guitar player.
So far I still wonder: "How's he playing everything without giving just a fast eye view?" Just Amazing !
Her voice is amazing!

The 90s: nobody wants to hear a guitar solo.
Now: ?
This music will always speak directly to my soul, thank you.

You have totally made me feel, every note, down to the very last inch of flesh in my soul ...thank you Chris Buck
That's what I am feeling....his music resonates what he is feeling way down deep in his soul.. awesome!
I had a headache before listening to this, but this song took it away.
You know a great solo when you hear that bum note and it matters not one bit! Great vocals from Sally Ann too.
What bum note? Never heard it!😁
The haunting tone of a Strat in skilled hands!!!! Nothing like it.
Simply beautiful

Whose are those fools talking on the back????? this made me shut my mind and enjoy so deeply, from Argentina, 2022, great performance B&E
Sounds like it came straight from the Stax studio. Really good.
Ahhh what a great solo! Mr. Chris you are over the top!!!
Intro was working towards “ say a little prayer “ huh? Very sweet
When a song says so much, then you all do that! Thank you

Gravity/Dreams to remember pre-dates this by 10 years or so. Chris Buck took inspiration from John Mayer.
That was kick-ass.
Another great guitar player ! F-ing awesome ! Will be following !!!
Crap. I have been playing guitar for over 20 years. Stunning.
BREATHTAKING!
Love the passion in his playing guitar ...
good version
Killing it Chris!😎🙌
The man has so much soul.
That bend from 21 high E at the end woke my dog up
Super...!!!
I say this freely and proudly, You are the Rory Gallagher of your generation
Is it just me? He looks, and plays a bit like late great Rory Gallagher. Amazing player with so much passion permeated in those notes. Very cool.
Yes, you are correct - that's true : )
Great rythm guitar too Chris !
Amazing playing!
Brilliant solo

Very few can equal Chris.
This guy is what it's all about
Great singer and great guitarist. Why did they break up? Thought Cardinal Black was great until I heard this.
Chris is the missing link between Jeff Beck an Rory Galagher.💥
CHRIS HAS WHAT FEW HAVE TODAY ..FEELING
John Mayered it! Great sounds!

Last comparison to John Mayer please. John's a grest player but this guy.....
You know Chris has to change his pants after he plays shows. He plays with so much feeling it has to get to him.
he ONLY thing wrong with this is the camera work.... 3:27 When someone's playing a guitar solo, who frames the shot so you can't see their hands?!?!

Chris, my guitar came from the same factory as yours, Fender, Corona California. Why doesn’t it sound anywhere near as good as yours?
Guy needs professional help. Someone to help him with his lack of ego! What a talent!!!!!
That guitar player looks like Weird Al.
I don’t get all the comments… that solo was sloppy and over the top with no restraint. I’m sure even Chris would agree if he watched this today.
Great but waay too long solo..

At the risk of a tirade from David D, I agree that it's too long. It's pretty good overall, but would work better at 1/2 the length.
