I own a cleaning company and I have a client who has travertine and I told him he needs a professional come in and clean it but he just has me do it and I’m like it’s dirty! Thank you for this video I’m going to show him this.
I always hear people say they like the “rustic look” of travertine which I guess is a classy or maybe just delusional way of saying they like a dirty floor
It cleaned up really well especially the grout so you did a top job there. Back in the 80s slate and cork were popular here and always remember this "she" is always
difficult to please. Now this may seem stupid but i got sick of cleaning the grout in the kitchen so I laid some carpet tiles and don't stress anymore. Stick vac makes easy
work and when necessary I can take them outside and wash them. The carpet tiles are more comfortable to.
I've cleaned a couple cork floors (remnants of the 80's) and I've actually had 4 or 5 jobs where the kitchen was wall to wall carpet. One lady answered the door and before I could even say hello she said, "I've always had carpet in the kitchen, I like it, I'm used to."
@@HowToCleanLikeAPro I spilt milk on two carpet tiles, I pulled them up and washed them outside and simply dropped them back in place when dry, bliss. The tiles and grout underneath still clean.
Did you use your portable extractor to clean that?
Note to self: No slate in dream home📝
What are some good neutral cleaners to use. I have been using Mr. Clean and I guard that a no,no.
Bona Multi Surface Floor Cleaner is good
What is a list of neutral cleaners? Thank you

Are you here in Florida? What do you charge I got a living room , dining room , kitchen & hallway
What is extraction? What's that machine u use? How much do u charge?
Extraction is sucking the dirty water off the floor. The machine in the video is a Hydramaster Maxx470 with a Hydroforce Gekko.
Interesting
where are you located??? I can't get anyone to re-grout-- they say they're too busy with new construction!
CA. It's hard to get contractors to even return a call let alone take a job
Maxi-Pad mops 🤣 (I work retail and you have no idea how many times I wanted to call them that out loud... but would probably have gotten terminated if I had.)
Gotta job ahead of me... inherited home whose ceramic tiles have likely never been sealed or cleaned beyond steamed water. Oh boy.
I get that. I've had to resist the urge to refer to paper toilet seat covers as ass gaskets many times to maintain a veneer of professionalism. Good luck with your new house!
