Today I'll be trying out MBlock again and seeing how good it is compared to scratch. With things like Dark Mode and settings that can teach you to learn Python, Scratch might have a worthy competitor!

I just checked it out and it literally turns out that this thing has 100+ extensions (including a machine learning one) built in, and can connect with a bunch of interesting devices like the Arduino

Weird, it only triggers a URL block when I view source code then trigger it, the site also opens a new tab when I click some links. Above that, it may as well be (a little) better than scratch, I wish some features were apart of scratch.
edit: I clicked create to see the different features and noticed something else too, the original (scratch) uses a cat with a cat sound, the ripoff (MBlock) uses a panda but uses the same cat sound instead of trying to be more original. I'm not saying I hate it, but it just doesn't feel right to be using a ripoff.

They won't get sued for copying Scratch 1:1 since the original Scratch has a do-what-you-want license that effectively allows you to do everything with it, afaik they could even sell their version of scratch as a service
