Got it thanks and thought as much. I can tell your good but I work for a major utility on LI and i cannot sole source a contractor without a competitive bid. Mazeltov
Funny how your video talked about the American flag our company does Red,White, Black since we use 14/4 and it doesn’t have blue we had to do it that way but it was easy to remember! 🇺🇸
I preferred Fujitsu over Mitsubishi. One of the reasons is multizone unit, Fujitsu has valve for each pair so in the event one zone leak, you can isolate it and test it individually vs Mitsubishi single valve for all zone in which you cant closed the zone if its leak. Daikin multizone has one of the worst design in term of electrical connection and copper line set; the line set is stacked to next one making so difficult to put wrench in to tighten the flaring nut. In term of quality, I think they all fine. Btw, I notice most of the US tech when they need to disconnect the pipe for what reason, repair or relocate, they all seems to use pump out the refrigerant to external tank but in oversea, they just pump down or return all refrigerant back to accumulator by closing liquid line while running, and then close the suction line once gauge show it down to 0 and then poweoff. I have tried that couple times and work great. Its something you can next time.
I like your videos and overall expertise but feel you are on the high end of labor cost for the common HVAC / Plumbing repair. Do you offer free estimates? Can I ask what would a 40 gallon power vented water heater cost me in Nassau ??
Mikey You Need To Expand your horizons! Go to Mitsubishi! You'll never go back brother. Quality of equipment Ease of installation Wealth of technical information Awesome awesome regional reps. You've never installed ductless split until you've been a Mitsubishi diamond contractor
Another killer job mike. I've seen some people put their flare connections behind the head unit (indoors) and I've always done them outside (like you did here). Is any one method superior to the other?
the blue tape on there is to protect the unit plastic from moving if you buy the product and get damage people get mad if there was blue tape some people get mad with or with out tape some people never happy
hey mike, what is the selling point for the floor mount over the high wall? was this install one outside unit? it would be cool to se daniel doing the outside unit filming at the same time as you inside.
when crimped with the aluminum sleeve it makes the strands like a solid core that's less likely to vibrate loose over time. "everything vibrates, whether you can see it or not" as it was put to me a long ass time ago. those ferrules are also a great option. Also helps to differentiate the job from an installer who has the stuff needed for a good install vs someone who just doesn't care
Nice work Mikey! You and your crew did 3 mini splits and done by 12? Impressive...but yeah why don't you have or using the knipex wire stripper I sent you?
I wanted Fujitsu ductless mini split system and for two 7k and one 12k head and they wanted it to have ICM Single Phase Motor Protector For Mini Splits local compay quoted me 12 grand and 2.5 days of work. last month i cantated the company about my quote and they told me price of the system has went up and i would have to be re quoted. I passed.
Mr Mikey, it takes days because the job has to be done right. Your video shows you wiring some units and drilling holes and claim to be done by lunch. Where do the drains go? Are they pitched? Are all the linesets ran in slim duct for a clean look or are they zip tied and clamped to the siding? What about running power up to the disconnect ? With all that, theres nothing about pressure testing or pulling vacuum on the lines! I'm not saying your a bad installer or a hack. But i've repaired and replaced alot of "quick" in and out shit jobs. I also suggest some research on the linesets with the white foam as I see in your video. 2 words, "pin holes"
😂 Yep I’m changing your name you’re no longer Mikey Pipes you’re now going to be Barney Pipes😅😅😅 you and me, me and you, were such a happy family😂😂😂😂 yep an change your beautiful shirts and pants to purple!!! Laughing I’m sorry I just could not help myself. God only knows how many times I listen to that song through raising 2 children.🤣🤣 An that was a sweet install ( an ? I seen yellow crimps ? Nope Nada No Way Jose ) laughing the only reason I know that is my dumb ass self done the same mistake few years ago🤦♂️🤪 My only ever complaint of that brand is heaven help me do they think American installers have baby kids fingers to try to wire units ? Lol my fat short fingers is no go🙅♂️ . But very nice job except!! I do have to lodge a complaint ! No view of the outside finished job ❗️❗️😱 But I forgive the cameraman ONLY because I know when Mikey Pipes is done it’s perfecto perfection it’s just Tits!! But ! If that cameraman forgets the final looksee, again, we are going to haft to give him a 😢 pay Cut!!😂😂😂❤❤ (edit for wrong word stupid spellcheck)
I love your Channel, but it is unprofessional to bash other contractors on your videos. Please save that for private talk with your guys. You don't know their side of the story. Great video, thanks.
easy to install does a great job, not noisy at all. I really like it !
Love seeing you take care of your guys. A lot of people should take lessons from you my man.

3 units in the time most Company’s take to install one….a great business model! Love ❤ your style, Mikey!
Loved Mr. Roger's neighborhood.
Mikey you really take care of you people and your customers. Big thumbs up to you!
Get Mr cool! Those are easy to install
This video on my birth day awsome
Mr. Rogers was a 'great' man...helped so many children as you know Mike. Would have liked to hear what those units sound like when running.
Outstanding workmanship👍
Pizza looks great. Gotta have glass of wine with it though.
Well done
Your yellow spade connectors are for 10-12 ga. wire. Red ones would probably work for control wires
nice work, would have liked to have seen more of the outdoor unit
Mikey, we are doing this same install on Saturday in Northwest Montana. Two consoles and a wall mount Fujitsu high heat model.
Mikey, I love all your videos and would trust you to do work on my grandma's house {as you are the best}. Love watching all your videos!
Really good video
Daniel the yellow terminals are for 10-12 ga wire 😉
Very nice drilling outside hole lower than inside for a good pitch on drain
Funny how your video talked about the American flag our company does Red,White, Black since we use 14/4 and it doesn’t have blue we had to do it that way but it was easy to remember! 🇺🇸
30:49 "are you stupid or something" i'm still laughing!!!
Osm editing
That looked like a wall hung junk screwdriver 😂😂😂
Thanks again for the videos!🍺🍺🍺🥃🥃🇺🇲
Pipe doctor,How do you check for electric/plumbing behind walls
That white line set is going to get you. Causes pin holes in the pipe look it up
@PipeDoctor still can't trust it . I get the rubber stuff k flex lineset doesn't rip and you need to cut it with a knife
Nice install. Great video
Embrace your inner mikey pipes
Gonna call you over soon to install a 2 unit Fujitsu for the basement. 1 for bedroom 2nd living room.
Use the hammer pins instead of those crappy plastic anchors. C'mon Mike, I need to come over there and show you, lol.
On repeat
How far away can the line set be?
The heat exchanger removal screw driver lol

You get money back for reclaimed refrigerant thru various supply chains when you return reclaim cylinders

the blue tape on there is to protect the unit plastic from moving if you buy the product and get damage people get mad if there was blue tape some people get mad with or with out tape some people never happy

Thought i was on the Mikey uncensored channel near the end. 😂🤣
Do you have any more xl shirts ?
Love the channel

Im surprised you don't install Mitsubishi. Best mini splits in my opinion. Is it not available in your area?
Peter is a young fella. He better up his pull-out game least he is daddy Peter soon. lol
Nice clean install. How did u ran the lineset for that last low boy. Over the awning?
KU made that job sweeter.
@@PipeDoctor thing we do to get the job done
You should create PipeDoctor Screwdrivers like that blue beast your using.

Why do you even need those spade connections? Put it right into the terminal block less connections.

Blue not yellow forks Daniel
I'm curious, why do you choose to offer Fujitsu over Mitsubishi? Mitsubishi has a superior warranty and the equipment is about the same price.
Wow I love big holes Lol! 😂😂😂
Mikey get a sds Bosch core bit dust collection attachment there fuckin awesome 👌🏻
"Cooling only?
@@PipeDoctor Thanks for the reply.

I wouldn’t start mate I just thought he was out of order
It’s the old bad boys film phrase…I wanna be,I wanna be like Mike pow 💥 he has literally followed your every move.😂
Hey, Mikey, if I’m not mistaken, isn’t the minimum distance is 8 inches preferably 12 from the top of the mini split hung on the wall?
63mm. Or 2.5 inches.
They work great, but it’s criminal that F. doesn’t cover labor on their indoor coils.
😎😎😎😎😎
You where lucky you did not brake that window with that concrete bit when you taped it on the window

Someone said that MJF mechanical is the diet version of Mikey Pipes. So therefore I think his nickname should be Mikey Lite
Wish you would have shown connecting the lineset to floor unit cause it's a bitch wish Fujitsu had a stub out like wall unit
