Ok got it. Change both caps to 220uf 10v works great !!! This solves last led being dim, sequence is speeded just a little bit by cap on timer. paly around with the caps to get flash speed you want. Also you can discard the 4007 diode. Works fine without it.

Nice. Your initial cascading circuit reminds me of something I designed on a bar napkin at 2 AM many years ago. My circuit had a different purpose and it was critical that it be integrated with a larger circuit by 8 AM. Fun memories.

Another good idea would be if only one LED would switch on for a second, then it switches off and the next starts...and so on. Great work there!
The 555 timer could run slower with a larger value capacitor. With 1/2 Watt resistors and RED LEDs you could fashion a car turn signal.

Ppl really need to get in to small ic I can make one strobe, zig zag, flicker or solid on a board smaller Than that 9v battery and run off 3v . Programmable as well. What I started doing years ago was when I found something that interests me I'd buy two of the items one I took apart and learned from and a lot of times I do have to ask someone who knows, trial and error. The 555 is cool but way to much work to many parts and room taken up. I started with stuff like this and by no means am I kicking it. It's a good learning experience and circuit. But wouldn't you like to build the same or more advanced the size of that 9v and a whole lot less parts? Good job on the circuit and it is important to learn and teach. No disrespect intended.

Está mal, en la colocación del diodo rectificador pone en pantalla el signo de positivo en el lado negativo (cátodo). Haz bien el vídeo y sorprende con tu circuito.

Interesting component change would be to switch out one of the resistors on the 555 to a variable pot and you can change the speed of the LED's. Say to 50K. experiment a little bit.
