What a blessing that sweet man is, may he be blessed with many years of good health B"H
The sanctity of a silent violinist! I can barely keep from crying over it. But when I saw that young child up there, I lost it.
may you please explain becuase I want to know
Tears in my eyes. How beautiful.
Very informative, thank you, great hats!
Im a atheist, But i have great Respect for these guys !
Very nice, Rabbi Royde, good job
I loved it made me cry
Awe! You Khazar always have the best stories. It's a gift. The way you guys can act is pretty incredible too. What is really astounding is how you all can make a ficticious event seem so real. Kinda like the way y'all do in your media monopoly. Do you have any video of a Christian violinist that escaped the Holodomer? About 9/11; oop! Mom's calling. Gotta go.
Nice!
formidable
Any connection to the Travelling Wilburys?
Rebbe shlita!
The story is beautiful.
I don't think the object is of the forshpiel skit is too make fun of musicians. I also love the sound of the violin when played correctly, it's something I would like to master. But the idea of a bunch of oldies pretending to play is to make the Chosson and family laugh.
What part does it play in spirituality making fun of violin playing? The gripping of the bow from its wrong end (6:43) and positioning of the left hand on the neck of the violin (instead it should of course be positioned below it, fingers dropping on the strings), when it is impossible to play anything? I play the violin, so pardon me, just asking.
+AnU Laitinen Why does this bother you? He TELLS you they are only pretending! How did you manage to miss the point of the story by wondering about a PRETEND VIOLIN PLAYER?
AnU Laitinen he's muffing the notes. Not playing but acting. He doesn't play he acts.
@@EliezerPennywhistler I didn't hear all of it properly. Where does this custom come from? And why are you always so sharp in your replies??
Regarding the violin player: my guess is that this person might have a stiffness in the shoulder or wrist that makes holding the violin in the conventional way not possible/too painful... What matters is: he plays the violin and loves what he is doing!
+Es Vee What matters is that he DOESN'T play the violin. Were you texting or smoking dope when the man explained what was going on?
Grande Israel, sabemos que Uds, son los escogidos y a través de Uds, nos ha llegado La Torah, benditos sea Israel y malditos los que están en su contra, oramos por Uds, al Eterno y los amamos.

What is the name of the niggun that starts at around 7:09? Thank you,
chabad nigguin....
Usually called Belzer Hakufe #1....I'm told that the hakufe nigunim actually date from the time of the Mezeritcher Maggid
DIos los bendiga EL SANTO DE ISRAEL
Baru Hashem
The guy in the middle is not really playing the fiddle. It sure is a fake, for god's sake!
Зачем старик взял скрипку ведь он на ней не играл, бутафория.
The fiddler must be a joke. Even the violin bow is upside down!
stupid man. Listen to the words and learn.
You would think somewhere along the way he would learn to hold the violin properly even if hes not playing. I mean come on.
Mitch Rubin If that's what you got out of the violin placement then you missed the point.
Mitch Rubin You my friend miss the whole presentation and what it means to that one man.
I miss a lot of things apparently.
+Mitch Rubin We all notice that about you.
My ears are bleeding
He is definately not holding the violin correctly.
ashkenazis haha
These guys almost make Mormons look sane...
