    I used to fall for the gym, bro nonsense. I can't stand to lift weights anymore and don't care about having massive muscles. It requires much more food to maintain anyway and is unsustainable.
    I would rather play musical instruments or read books or, yes, even play video games, then stress my body out and live shorter.
    However, that said, I am not against all types of exercise. I think swimming is fine, and rock climbing is kinda cool and fun as is hiking. Swimming is probably the least stressful type of exercise, and it is especially good in the summertime such as over here in Australia where it gets really hot.

    He's spoken some many words I've been trying to hammer at myself for others to really understand it as well, in terms of Influencers! People don't get that the online world is mostly FAKE, people aren't exactly living these lavish lifestyles like people want to believe! Most Influencers do not have real life friends, which is why they are looking to online. Afterall, if they were truly living the great life, they wouldn't have time to be always making online videos to show themselves off. Most Luxury cars are indeed rented, but what people who watch influencers don't get is that most people will spend more money on cars in their lifetime than an actual house, and that driving or spending a long time in a car is actually extremely stressful on the body and that it's yet another reason why Americans have a high rate of diabeetus. Cars are actually one of the worst investments and things to own out of any possession one can buy, because the benefits from it completely outweigh the benefits of "freedom" it gives. Men wanting to be "ripped and shredded" with their muscles are also some of the biggest slaves, completely ignoring the costs to have all that unnecessary bulk.

    Having huge muscles is not the issue, at least not for a short time for when it’s necessary it’s having huge muscles that drain resources and puts unnecessary stress on your organs and physiology, destroying your hormones and disrupting your homeostasis basically for extended periods of time. Hunting and fishing and living a pastoralist nomadic lifestyle leads the best life outcomes and imo physiques for humans.
    Stress is part of life though, you can’t escape it you can’t obtain all of this animal food, without putting your body on the line to track, and hunt big game, or farm/herd and raze big animals to slaughter for your nutrients. But that’s part of life, you can’t escape it but you can still do your best to avoid unnecessary stress. In ideal situations, you shouldn’t need to workout even in nature if you lived a ‘pure’ lifestyle.

    I don't think muscles are going to shorten your life span, not if you're training naturally. If you're a bodybuilder steroid freak, then yes. Fact is your mucles wither away as you get older, so doing some resistance taraining to build a bit of muscles and slow down that process makes sense? Then there's also a loss of strength as you get older. In reality, the average person who trains naturally can't put on that much muscle. The best the average person can do is to be about 13 stone of muscle and lean. Anything beyond that would take steroids. Of course there are exceptions, where some guys have massive frames, but I'm talking about the average guy. From training naturally I'm 13.9 stone at 15% body fat. The best I could do here is drop to 10% minimum, and maybe gain a little bit more muscle, but then I would just end up being around 13 stone lean, which is normal. Basically agree with the video though. Maybe he was referring to mainly steroid freaks, but didn't clarify. If we take your physique, for example, you are pretty muscular from videos I've seen of you, but not in a freakish way where your health is in danger.

    Mental regurgitation ahead: Ok let me concede that an unnatural volume of muscle health is actually unhealthy past a certain point, and we´re not actually meant to bulk up. Still, theres no way that the optimal lifestyle for a human is just for you to sit around all day not doing anything, not moving, not doing physically challenging stuff. We evolved running dozens and sometimes hundreds of miles a day, chasing prey, working to produce our food. Now we live in a world where I can work a desk job sitting down all day, and be able to afford all the raw animal nutrition that I need. Yet my body is still made for physical struggle. Theres no way that doing absolutely nothing physical your whole life is healthier than doing moderate daily exercise. Just look at the actual hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. Yes they are lean, but they are jacked too.
    They don't exercise much in their free time, but they run many kilometers every day in scorching heat (what's crazy is that they sweat very little).
    That's how our lives looked like back in the day.
    I don't care what you, or anyone else says, light cardio everyday is a MUST for healthy body.
    And while I understand the argument about brain damage, the survival instinct, confidence that fights/sparring provides and the satisfaction that comes after the workout is almost as essential for us as proper diet.
    I get the feeling that you think that the goal of your life is to just live it. And if you think that it's ok, but I don't think this philosophy is correct. We live to get better, to overcome our adversity, to make something we and our children can be proud of, to not be like the masses, to overcome our fears and weaknesses.
    Besides that, it's pathetic and unhealthy to sit on your butt all day. You want to be healthy and don't exercise? Walk! Go for a walk, preferably somewhere with lots of nature around you...
    Than again, it's something that I believe. Not something that's undeniably true

      @GoatisReviews  Рік тому +7

      You gave zero reasoning for your beliefs so I have a lot of questions.
      Who are you talking about? I've never seen any jacked ones.
      It's not that they don't exercise much in their free time. It's that there's never been one recorded case of exercise in tribes/nature.
      Who runs kilometers every day? lol
      What is healthy about cardio?
      Yes, satisfaction after the workout because it's done. So you agree with me that it's bad for you.
      How do you become better by destroying your health?
      How is it unhealthy to sit?

      @@GoatisReviews the one that was on my mind was was from Tanzania.
      They are still very lean, but you can see every single muscle on their backs and arms, sure a lot of it is from throwing spears and shooting the bow, but the exercise I'm talking about is the most innate, engraved in our body action of all... play. Kids are playing all the time, they wrestle, chase, run away, they are constantly playing, because otherwise living in the clay house is boring as f*** for them. And the adults are the same, they play with the kids/ themselves, they dance around the fire, they do stuff because otherwise they'd be bored to death.
      Yes, that is exercising.
      Jogging few kilometers is a normal thing if you want to find prey. I don't know what's surprising about that... I don't think you'll actually expect that prey will come to your village.
      About cardio and sitting? Well, since people become able to sit on their asses half of the day things like cholesterol imbalance happened. Healthy human body is able to digest any amount of (animal) fat you throw at it daily and it wouldn't impact their health negatively. But in today's world it very common, why? Because people sit on their asses all day. Adult human naturally would not even have opportunity to sit around all day because he/she would have children and later grand children to take care of, for example they would go on walks with with them. Yes we want to sit and relax, but that's because there are no animal in the world that can do that for too long before some predator will come around or some annoying little shit will jump on it's head :D
      Ps. I agree with other things you said in this video, especially what you've said about people blindly following life of Tate, or some other Kardashians...

      3) What is cholesterol imbalance?

    @Goatis About the cars: We need to discuss the word “manmade”. You use it to say that most things these days were invented/created by human beings but the question is: How is it different from neanderthals using their environment to create weapons for hunting? I see it from the perspective that even metal and oil, which is important for cars, are natural resources. Therefore, creating something out of it can be considered environment/object manipulation which is the same our ancestors have done to survive in nature. Our brains have developed, we are capable of so much more than thousands of years ago - isn’t it then a valid point to say that man made stuff has always existed and that it’s some kind of a natural process that human beings create more stuff? No matter if it’s weapons for hunting or cars to drive (regardless of the use, that’s not my point here). I’m curious about your opinion on this one.

    • @GoatisReviews
      @GoatisReviews  Рік тому

    • @prussiansocietyofamerica
      @prussiansocietyofamerica Рік тому

      I think you take out of context what he means by "manmade". We all use manmade objects, and it's not that there is a problem with that, per se. But the issue is that Man-made processes veer off the course of Nature, which subjects us to all kinds of health issues, unhappiness, other challenges and complications. The thing is, the myth of evolution makes Humans to believe we can adapt to things, when actually we cannot. For example, driving a car, while yes, we can DO IT and even can manufacture cars, the untold levels of stress and issues it causes in the body are proof that they are unnatural and unhealthy for us. After 20 minutes of sitting or driving in a car, stresses begin to be imposed on the body, cortisol rises, and correct bloodflow is inhibited.
