Thinking of you as you process losing your grandpa. First family deaths are the hardest. I'm older (66) and had older parents to begin so they've been gone for a long time but three Decembers ago I lost my only brother whom I was very close to and that has been very difficult. I feel like an orphan in some ways. We will all be reunited one day and that will be wonderful. And your church's singing is always so beautiful!

Here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania it is in the teens in the morning and not quite 30 degrees in the afternoon. The wind makes it feel like 12*. My husband's family is from Jackson and Homer Michigan and we truly love the lifestyle there. My husband's cousin lives on a farm and has memonite and Amish neighbors and we love going back to visit with them and get our fix of Walnut Creek can Goods and supplies.
