Baltimore Metro Subway: West Cold Springs to Johns Hopkins - Cab View

Forward facing drivers view of the Baltimore Metro Subway underground segment from the West Cold Springs station to the eastern terminal at Johns Hopkins Hospital. This was taken from a 1983 Budd Company built Universal Transit Vehicle nearing the end of its service life. The line features manual operation with cab signal based automatic train control using speeds of 0, 12, 20, 40, 50, 60 and 70mph. The tunnel section mostly sees main line speeds of 40 and 50mph.
