Right!? It’s really something! The wonderful thing is everybody has fantastic air-conditioning out here. I was hot and uncomfortable much more often in California than I am in Texas. Lol.
totally hearing you about being exhausted after going away, when i go away i go go go, i dont stop from sunrise to late at night, i usually do about 25,000 steps a day so when i come home i need a holiday from my holiday hehe i almost fall in a heap after i go on a holiday and get home hehe

Oh my goodness! I'm so type A regarding our passports until they are in the cruise room safe! I've learned to make a commitment to the stairs and hitting the gym at least every other day on a cruise. Last...50 and cortisol is not a fun mix 😅 right there with ya!

Excited to see your videos on Sun Princess! Taking my family June 2025 Naples to Athens. Curious of your take on the ship for a multi-generational trip, which is what my family is, and seems to be what Princess is going for. Interested to see the new Cabana mini-suite cabins and Cabana area if you’re able to go there. Also the dome ☀️
Absolutely and the upper decks definitely have some family fun which is totally new for Princess. I will check it all out for you.

Great choice to cruise to Europe. This spring will be our 8th time to Europe. We actually just came back from a Mediterranean cruise with MSC World Europa this past December and it was an AMAZING ship. The food have changed quite a bit and it's way better now. The service has also improved quite a lot. We will be on a Transatlantic Cruise on Oasis of the Seas this spring. Very excited to be on a mega ship with lots of sea days to explore the ship any joy all that it has to offer.

We are booked on Sun Princess for 21 nights on August 17th and after contacting Princess we were told the problem is serious and there will be no sailings until September also have noted online others have been told the same.
If possible, I'd love to see a ship tour (or partial one). She looks gorgeous!

Yep, that was a huge factor- where we were living, we couldn’t buy a *basic* home for under $1.6 million. We bought land out here for a fraction of that. It’s beautiful and the people are so friendly. I do miss the California food, though and my grocery stores.
Do you recommend taking your passports with you on an excursion to another country, or leaving them onboard in the safe? I’ve heard both opinions.

Just listened to the most recent podcast episode “The One thing that makes the 1st day of the cruise” … & the constant mention and segue into the ‘you know’ crutch words - was a distraction to the episode. We all have crutch phrases so I didn’t mind or noticed UNTIL you all would call attention to it, resulting in starting & stopping the flow of conversation.

So excited that you're going to Europe! I'm finally going on a northern Europe cruise in May through Norwegian. Nervous because it's my first time to Europe and I'm going solo! I'm going to several countries that have different currencies. What kind of cash would you suggest having for the cruise? Some cash in each type of currency?

I just did a Royal Carribean cruise in November. Stayed at the JW Marriott Water Street- literally 5 min by taxi from the port. I had a room on a higher floor overlooking the rooftop pool and water. Got to watch all of the ships coming into port on Saturday morning. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by (Tampa Riverwalk).
