737 Master Caution, Fire Warning & Stab out of Trim Annunciators

- After years of revisions, I have finally created this design. I could only replicate the parts closely once I received real annunciators. Please remember that these are smaller than the original 737 dual-seat annunciators and were specifically designed for use in the 737SS. However, you can still use or customise them in your simulator to suit your requirements.
The lenses are the exact dimensions as the actual 737 Boeing Korry units, and the outer case is dimensionally larger due to the use of resin to create the parts instead of metal. Each annunciator has a resin-printed cage to hold the units firmly.

A massive Thank You to Sebi Woelke for the Intro and Logo!
You should incorporate SMD resistors onto the board for the LED's
Another one bites the dust.........! almost there Karl. Great work.
Thank you! Its defo my best version, and i love the mounting solution.
Absolutely awesome. Look sooooo good.
Thank you, As time goes by i hope they get better! These still lack the feel of the actual unit, but thats for the next version lol
@@helimech8152 ah but only very, very few people know what a real one feels like…so I’m pretty sure this reality of touching a control and having it visibly alter state & do a task will suffice. I wouldn’t beat myself up about it… 😉
They look absolutely great, Karl! You see, even Spiderman loves your work ... 😉
Lol, there was actually another spider shortly after, but i cut that one out. No wonder im forever removing webs in the studio!
love it, one day I will start my sim
Take your time, once you start, its a never ending project! But its great fun!
Great stuff! Do you have a link where we could get those LED switches?
Hi Karl, great stuff as usual! Just wanted to ask one question please - what do you use for tying up cable looms? Is it some small black wire or waxed string of some sort? Cheers, Phil.
Quick question. Do you know of any tactile switches like you have here with 2 LEDs in them? Possibly 2 color lit with one color and color change when pressed? Thanks
How can bay pcb wrng light push buttoton
Hi Karl, what dimensions do you made them? There are articles on internet that shows there are different dimensions for the stab and master caution buttons. I made the stab today and also uses the same dimensions, 25x25mm.
Okay so i have just measured the units for you. I have 20.78mm for the master caution & Fire warning and i make the SOOT 22.38mm. This is pretty close which i why i made them the same case. Also as a 737 pilot pointed out, you can not see the text on the SOOT until lit, so i will now try to paint the inner surface and see if that works. I hope that helps. You can check out out the website, showing the real unit nexts to the replicas for size comparsion.
Can someone please tell me the physics behind, that the red led has created a hot spot, while the white one is not? Just curious.
I'm only having a stab at this but a red filter would cancel out red light waves making them appear whiter. Hence the red leds showing up as bright hotspots.
B&W film photography use different coloured filters to enhance contrast. I imagine a similar thing is happening here.
would you send to Brazil???
I think we have sent many packages to brazil!
You job making cokpilot pannels and pieces is heavy, you must have to more suscriptors, you must to wait, it.
Thank you! Awesome!
First again lol
Nailed it!
