KHOL (খৰমান তাল || Khormaan Taal) || Jyotishman Mahanta || Sabyasachi Kalakendra

KHORMAAN TAAL( খৰমান তাল), is a Traditional Taal of Assam used in Sattriya Music (both Vocal & Dance). It is also an integral part of "Khol Prasanga". It has three parts :-
Ga - Maan(গা-মান), Ghat(ঘাত) and Chok(চোক). Apart from these, there is also Thela Bajona(ঠেলা বাজনা) of Khormaan Taal which is mostly common in the "KHOL PRASANGA" (খোল প্ৰসংগ) of Borduwa Tradition of Sattriya Culture. So it has a variation with different rhythms.
