Today's video was such a blast! I had so much fun! I never did end up liking the Hobby Lobby decor. Way to much stuff for my taste! Oh well, I'll have to try again when I'm more in the mood! Hopefully this helps you see different things and start to know what you like in YOUR home! Don't forget to like the video and subscribe if you haven't done so already! 💗PS. Yes, I am returning the items I do not like! 😉
I have to say this is the first time I’ve seen you use so many items at once. But it turned out cute ( maybe since I love birds ) . You are so honest about not liking it after you put it together. Happens to me because I don’t have the vision of how something is going to look until I put it together. Great video ❣️❤️
I love these pottery barn vs. videos...because I love PB, but not the prices. I usually wait for my items to go on clearance from them, unless I just can't stop myself! I also watched your thrift store vs PB. I liked the the trying to dupe the look idea better, but still watched both! Maybe next time with HL, trying to make a close dupe. So fun!
I think the black Pottery Barn vase was the star of the show. Just getting that one item and then purchasing the foliage and pumpkins from HL would be just as good as what you overpaid for at the other store, and much more affordable.
I just LOVE that you said you were not happy with the last arrangement. I had trouble with it too and when you admitted that you were struggling with making it look like you wanted it too, I just felt so close to you , as if we were friends arranging things together. You really are adorable and so likable. You're "real" and that's the best kind of person. I can't wait to watch your next video.
I love the simplicity of the first, pottery barn. Especially behind the kitchen sink where the sunlight shines through the foliage!! I love the fall! Thanks Leslie 💞
I liked the Pottery Barn because it was minimal. The one you did from Hobby Lobby had too much stuff for me. It would have been neat if you had done a Hobby Lobby design using, as close as possible, the same 4 to 5 items as you purchased from Pot Barn. I believe you could have found a similar mat, vessel, foliage, pumpkins and mugs at Hobby Lobby. That would have been a more honest comparison. I think I will try it because the first design was very good just way too much money.
I actually like both ! But my absolute favorite 🤩 was the Hobby Lobby arrangement ! Thank you for sharing your outstanding talent with us ! Love your channel 🧡💚💛
I like the pottery barn black vessel with the foliage best, it’s a classy look that can be duplicated on a budget. I loved the large tray, but maybe just the copper serving set with some fall picks! TFS great decorating ideas!!!
Hi Leslie I love all your beautiful decorating. I do not decorate for many seasons yet I love seeing everything you do. You are so creative. We travel a lot to see are 9 grandchildren and are children so I don't do the seasonal decor any more. I do like the Hobby Lobby best. You always do such a beautiful job! Thank you for sharing. Wishing you and Jason a blessed week! ❤🙏
I liked the black vase with the leaves but liked the wood tray. I'm sure you could find similar items at hobby lobby to mimic the pottery barn. Its really what you like but without breaking the bank. Enjoyed watching you. Have a blessed week.
We are all far too critical of ourselves and anything we do as well…Leslie you are so amazingly talented! I keep watching for inspiration and praying I can pick up just a little bit of your talent. Maybe one day :) I hope you and Jason are having a wonderful weekend. Sending lots of love ❤️
i loved the way the Pottery Barn deco turned out but there is no way I could afford that. I am going to try to recreate that look but spending far less money. Thank you for the inspiration.
I am smiling, because it is good to know I am not the only one that keeps playing with a vignette, until I don’t remember what my original thought was. You will have it beautiful, you always do. 🤣🤣🥰🥰
I enjoyed watching the video because I'm always interested in your ideas. Sorry to say, neither look really wowed me. I am glad you can return what you don't really love and or need. I would be out in my yard seeing what I cut to bring inside to fill the foliage requirements!! $0.00 !!! But you are always fun to watch!! Don't give up!!! Sometimes we just have to start all over!!! Done that a few times in my life...not just talking about decor either!!
I loved the Hobby Lobby mugs and pitcher but overall I agree it was just too much with all the other stuff. The Pottery Barn display was much better but so pricey. It's always a joy watching you no matter what though! Thank you Leslie!!
I enjoyed seeing you do these arrangements. Gave a lot ideas showing merchandise from the two stores. I love to see you enjoying the making of these videos too! Thank you!
I love everything Hobby Lobby and I would never pay $60 for one branch from anywhere. That's 3 meals in my house. I definitely think less is more. maybe just don't have so much on the tray.
I preferred the overall look of the first one, but definitely not the price tag! The second one had elements that I love (that wooden tray, the cutting boards, and the copper pitcher are gorgeous)! I agree with you that the foliage didn't quite work out. I would like to see you take that second setting and find the foliage and pumpkins that do jazz it up just right! (Video idea right there!!) You have a great eye and I appreciate the tips you give along the way!
I'm so surprised. I thought I would love the Pottery Barn decor but you convinced me that the Hobby Lobby items were really nice. Maybe a few less items would be calmer. Thanks for the inspriation!
I look so forward to Sunday evening when I get to watch your newest video. I loved the fact that you "admitted" you might not be as pleased with one decor idea. Makes me feel more human:) You so inspire me!!! Do you think that sometimes when the prices at one shop are so much better than the other it makes you want to over do?
I much preferred the hobby lobby one! Yes a little cluttered, but even just removing one or two things I think it would have been perfect! The colors were much more “fall” to me!
I love the PB one. I think it's awesome to show your viewers that decorating isn't a perfect science and you (not you particularly but any decorator) can sometimes get it wrong. Thanks for sharing!!!!
When you started the Hobby lobby I loved both the wood and black tier tray. The black pumpkin was good and the Copper. But then too much Copper and the cutting boards, flowers etc etc. I have to say your ending made me laugh. You knew it wasn't right. Love your video's
Love to watch your videos, So so glad you noticed the 2nd arrangement was not working at all 🥰 that’s how I arrange on my first try 😁 still a good video 👍🥰
They are both beautiful. The hobby lobby one is great. A bit too busy for me, but I do like it. Pottery barn breaks the bank and not worth it. Good job Leslie
Liked both but loved Pottery Barn one most but that price is ridiculous! I certainly cannot afford to spend that on those few things for fall. You always do a wonderful job, thank you so much for sharing. Sending lots of love, hugs and prayers to you both and I hope all is going well. Have a blessed day 🙏💙❤🙏
The Pottery Barn look was the winner for sure! That foliage was stunning! (And pricey!) The height it gave the look was sorely missing in the HL look. And HL will not able To match the coloring on the PB foliage. So gorgeous!
I like the version of Hobby Lobby at the very end of the video. Cute stuff but a little cluttered. I liked the Pottery Barn but way to expensive for a seasonal decoration for me. You did amazing on both and lots of ideas! Thank you 🙂
Hi Leslie I love both you did an amazing job on both. Pray that you and Jason are having a great day, I’ve put you both on my prayer list. Enjoy your week.
I love the items you chose. I think the flowers from hobby lobby just didn't look right. I'm glad that you showed us that sometimes it just doesn't work. I know I have bought items and ended up having to get something else lol Glad to know that you are human 😂
I LOVE the PB leaves. I may have to look at them. I have a pot, my cake stand, and pumpkins. I may put a candle instead of the mugs. I really love the concept.
I like the simplicity of the Pottery Barn grouping. The Hobby Lobby one was too busy, my eye didn’t know where to look, maybe there wasn’t a focal point? But I like the price of the Hobby Lobby one for sure. Thanks! I enjoyed the comparison all the same.
I think the hobby lobby haul would look great on your hutch. The pottery barn stuff is nice but i think it needs a little something. Maybe that HL tray. Its hard to chose stuff at PB because its all so expensive. You did a great job.
Still some great ideas for Fall👍 Hobby Lobby is always a good place to shop. I could never afford Pottery Barn! But that was some beautiful inspiration 💞🥰
I appreciate the fact you are willing to try new things in an open forum. The Pottery Barn foliage and vase was very pretty. I think I would save on the artificial pumpkins, and purchase smaller real ones to display. There are so many pretty gourds to select from and they can last a long time, and cost less. The faux ones seemed too large in scale. As to the Hobby Lobby design, you were right that after playing with it over three days it just didn’t work. Less is more. Hobby Lobby can have some good choices in decor, but be careful of buying too much and getting too themey. You will have that large fall branch longer, I bet, and find ways or places to use it more. You might even have a different vase already. What about an ironstone pitcher or crock? I know that’s what I’ll do if I get that same piece of foliage! Guess I am going shopping. 😉
Love your channel! Not sure if you go thrifting ever, but I’d love to see you do a decor video on just thrifted finds. I bet you could do all of these looks for even less! You have the eye for it and I see a lot of these items at thrift stores all the time.
Pottery barn was beautiful and for me the hobby lobby needed something taller on the tired tray and maybe less small items. You have the best eye but everyone has something they put together that they just don't "feel." I think both are pretty and you did great.
I like the one from Pottery Barn. The pumpkins color matched so well with the colors of the foliage. Also, it looked uncluttered! Otherwise, I love the way you decorate your home.
Love the pottery barn, but like most people way out of budget. Absolutely love Hobby Lobby and can relate to your struggle with that one. Last year it took 3 tries for me to decorate my fall dining room table in a way I was happy with.
Hey this is Lynda. I know that Pottery Barn is expensive but the look is fantastic. Maybe you could find some of the objects cheaper but I love the simple but elegant look. I am a Pottery Barn buyer but I always try to be selective and try and find objects to substitute when I can. Go Pottery Barn. You did a great job. Keep up the good work.
I’m not a farmhouse fan but I don’t mind the words at all. I have a couple of my own. I think they both look nice but I understand what you were saying because that first one, as expensive as it was yikes, would be hard to beat it was beautiful. I almost choked when you said how much that fall foliage was though. You always do a beautiful job.
Honestly had you gone into HL and purchased similar items I think you would have been happy. You made the mistake we all do... and bought it all because of the discount pricing! Both are super cute in my opinion. Thanks for sharing!
After reading the comments from others, it seems a lot of us have the same feeling about the HL tray. So glad YOU felt the same way. Just too large and too much stuff. Thanks Leslie for showing your human side :)
Hi.I love them both but Pottery Barn is pricey so I would probably go with the Hibby Lobby tray but I wouldnt use the large cutting board!Very pretty but maybe a little too much on the tray?!!I would do the black tie tray on one side, the pitcher with the flowers in it and the little black pumpkin in the middle with a copper mug on either side??Your kitchen is so lovely!!!Love your good and beautiful cabinets on either side!!!Enjoy!Fall is such a beautiful time of the year!!!😁🌻🍊🍁🌼🥧
Hi Leslie....yes...I think I agree with you, something is just off on the Hobby Lobby decor....The Pottery Barn is nice with the pumpkins and fall leaves colors plus it's more minimal....just looks more like fall....Hobby Lobby, although nice, does not depict the Fall vibe to me, a little too busy for my taste and it could be more a catch all of items for any time of year....so must go with Pottery Barn this time.....but as always you never dissapoint and I always look forward to your videos! Thanks Lesile...see you again soon!
Pottery barn stuff is pretty. Like the simplicity. I don’t shop there, would never spend that much on decor. I will shop hobby lobby or home goods and can find very pretty items. That extra money saved could go to so many good causes. With that said..I’m going to buy that big tray from HL. Love it. Thanks for all your hard work. It’s appreciated.
They are both lovely! But no way am I spending all that money at Pottery Barrn! I love seeing what you get from Pottery Barn as I have never been inside of one but I am more of a HL budget person. Great Job Leslie!
Yep, it happens hun. When you walk away for a while...you come back with a new outlook 😊
God bless you for your transparency! I know I can follow your lead with this kind of honesty. 💕❤️💕
I have to say this is the first time I’ve seen you use so many items at once. But it turned out cute ( maybe since I love birds ) . You are so honest about not liking it after you put it together. Happens to me because I don’t have the vision of how something is going to look until I put it together. Great video ❣️❤️
I was thinking no, on the hb. The plate? The large sunflower picks? I like your honesty. Your such a sweet soul.
You hit things right, most of the time, your fun, to listen too!!!
So fun!
“ Saying grace “ certainly is what we all need to be reminded of TODAY! The decor and price are great!
I think the black Pottery Barn vase was the star of the show. Just getting that one item and then purchasing the foliage and pumpkins from HL would be just as good as what you overpaid for at the other store, and much more affordable.
I just LOVE that you said you were not happy with the last arrangement. You really are adorable and so likable. You're "real" and that's the best kind of person. I can't wait to watch your next video.
Table #1: Class. Table #2: Kitch. You have the talent and the eye to make magic. ✨️
I think I will try it because the first design was very good just way too much money.
That is what I was expecting also.
I have to agree. I like the pottery barn design because it is more minimal.
@Kimmys Whimsy me too
I had the same thoughts
I was expecting a true apples to apples comparison. Instead we got an apples to oranges comparison.
The Pottery Barn was absolutely beautiful! Bigger pieces and the flowers were gorgeous.
I love the Pottery Barn one by no way I can afford $300+ for a seasonal display. Thank you for always giving us options.
Oh and I LOVE your kitchen!
I think you nailed it
Whether ppl liked this video or not, it makes me in the mood to decorate. Thanks for inspiring me to at least do a little.
I love it behind your sink too. 🧡💛🤎🧡💛🤎
Lol. I love your honesty! It makes me feel like I’m not the only one who fails at putting things together sometimes!
Pottery barn display is gorgeous!
Beautiful items from both stores. But my favourite is the Pottery Barn choices.
I loved both displays along with the Say Grace words!
Love the pottery barn one , I think the stem makes the vignette
i loved the way the Pottery Barn deco turned out but there is no way I could afford that. I am going to try to recreate that look but spending far less money. Thank you for the inspiration.
I am smiling, because it is good to know I am not the only one that keeps playing with a vignette, until I don’t remember what my original thought was. You will have it beautiful, you always do. 🤣🤣🥰🥰
I use vessels & greenery in my home so the PB was my favorite!❤️🙏 Enjoy your videos 🥰❤️🙏🙏🙏

Well said Brenda…
I loved the Hobby Lobby mugs and pitcher but overall I agree it was just too much with all the other stuff. The Pottery Barn display was much better but so pricey. It's always a joy watching you no matter what though! Thank you Leslie!!
I like the decoration you made with Hobby Lobby! If course I still like the cutting board with the words in it too!
I liked the less cluttered one. You can absolutely do the same display as the PB, using HL items 😊.
I love every single one of your videos, Leslie. I think both decor options are beautiful, but I’m partial to the Hobby Lobby one! Great job.
I enjoyed seeing you do these arrangements. Gave a lot ideas showing merchandise from the two stores. I love to see you enjoying the making of these videos too!
Thank you!
I am for Hobby Lobby all day, every day. Simplifying it would have been advantageous. You did a great job. ❤️
I love everything Hobby Lobby and I would never pay $60 for one branch from anywhere. That's 3 meals in my house. I definitely think less is more. maybe just don't have so much on the tray.
I loved the pottery barn one - The vase alone sold me. Gorgeous!!
I'm absolutely fine with words! I liked the first look best though! It was gorgeous!!
I preferred the overall look of the first one, but definitely not the price tag! The second one had elements that I love (that wooden tray, the cutting boards, and the copper pitcher are gorgeous)! Love to watch your videos, So so glad you noticed the 2nd arrangement was not working at all 🥰 that’s how I arrange on my first try 😁 still a good video 👍🥰
Love the grace board.
Actually loved the original setup minus the mini cutting board on the left side.
You did a beautiful job.
Your show made me smile today . I needed that ! Thank you
Loved the pottery barn one!
Hobby Lobby is my store, And you got some great finds! Everything is so beautiful, I love it. Thank you for sharing💕👏🏼
Thank you for the beautiful pottery barn display. I’m going to duplicate that look with Hobby Lobby items. Stunning !
The Pottery Barn look was the winner for sure! That foliage was stunning! (And pricey!) The height it gave the look was sorely missing in the HL look. And HL will not able
To match the coloring on the PB foliage. So gorgeous!
I like the version of Hobby Lobby at the very end of the video. Cute stuff but a little cluttered.
I liked the Pottery Barn but way to expensive for a seasonal decoration for me.
You did amazing on both and lots of ideas!
Thank you 🙂
I loved the big wooden tray with your stove hood. Both arrangements were beautiful.
You nailed it at the thrift store!
Hi Leslie I love both you did an amazing job on both. Pray that you and Jason are having a great day, I’ve put you both on my prayer list. Enjoy your week.
I love the HL one! You did great!
I love the items you chose. I think the flowers from hobby lobby just didn't look right. I'm glad that you showed us that sometimes it just doesn't work. I know I have bought items and ended up having to get something else lol Glad to know that you are human 😂
Me encantaron !!!Las dos propuestas 😍
Would also love to see thrifted decor ideas that are budget friendly. Your decor is always so beautiful, love your channel!
LESLEY. I love HL’s price, but the elegance of the Barn’s styling. Tfs cheers
You have the touch Leslie, love your videos 💕
I really liked what you did with the Hobby Lobby decor. The $60.00 leaf from Pottery looked sparse to me. Great job. TFS 👍👍🥰
... so many great elements to play with!
I LOVE the PB leaves. I may have to look at them. I have a pot, my cake stand, and pumpkins. I may put a candle instead of the mugs. I really love the concept.
Very cute. I really liked your Hobby Lobby set up!
Definitely Pottery Barn. Way more classy and minimal
I love word signs! 🌈🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️

I loved the simplicity, but not the cost of the Pottery Barn. Good job.

I love them both. I did like a fuller look of Hobby Lobby a little better! I think if you love something it's worth every dollar 😉
I started decorating as well. I love Fall.
Lovely Leslie, thank you for posting!
I loved the PB behind your sink! I wouldn’t pay that much for it but it’s pretty.

Great job as usual, Leslie💛🖤🧡💛
I think I'd still shop at Hobby Lobby but maybe just have a few of the things. Thanks for the comparison!❣️
I love it!!!
Love words on signs...
I love them both! I think for theH.L. one, more pumpkins on the tiered tray would look good. You always do a great job, love your style!
lol...its okay Leslie! most of the time you are spot on!!! your home is lovely, like you...and Jason 😁!
PB for sure! Love all the items from HL but feel the tray was way too full. Love your posts. I have learned so much from you! Thank you and God Bless!
Loved both.
I love both of them, you are so talented.
Even goodwill would be a good choice.
I got two of the copper pitchers I love them
I loved the pottery Barn very pretty🍂
Pottery barn stuff is pretty. Like the simplicity. I don’t shop there, would never spend that much on decor. I will shop hobby lobby or home goods and can find very pretty items. That extra money saved could go to so many good causes. With that said..I’m going to buy that big tray from HL. Love it. Thanks for all your hard work. It’s appreciated.
They are both lovely! But no way am I spending all that money at Pottery Barrn! I love seeing what you get from Pottery Barn as I have never been inside of one but I am more of a HL budget person. Great Job Leslie!
