I'd go with chrome or polished wheels personally. I agree the moto metals are ugly especially their centercaps. I've got a victory red 06 cateye 2500hd lt2 fully loaded with a 7-9 mcgaughys lift powdercoated in illusion red. Better quality lifts ride better. Mine rides pretty good, quality tires make a really big difference too
its really not even the quality lift to a degree, just about any lift is a good lift if you buy good shocks for it, most more expensive lifts are just more fancy

Disassemble the mirror itself and send the parts to a local paint guy to get it professionally done or you can do it at home with a mock up booth and the proper paint

id buy forged wheels but i hate chrome wheels you cant run them in winter but ive gown to love the black and white look

Would the tow mirrors look out of place on a regular cab non lifted? I wish I could find a stock looking one with amber lights.
it would definitely add a wide presence and it might throw off the look your going for if its not lifted but its all personal preference
