THANK YOU!! You make it look so easy. I will be doing an ocean theme dresser for my grandson. Was very nervous about the blending colors....now Im very comfortable after watching g your video!
Im about to do a Barbie inspired dresser obv using hot pink! Ill be going opposite - bright pink at top feathering down into light pink down the bottom. Ill finish it off with gold feet & hardwear with gold cupboard lining & vanity bulb lighting around the mirror. I cant wait to get my paint & brushes out at the weekend to get a start on it 🙌
I just realized I have Gulf Stream, I love this color, I mixed it with Charcoal (Rust-Oleum) 2 parts Gulf Stream/1part Charcoal and used it as the base coat, then for the 2nd color I mixed some of the Gulf Stream with Serenity Blue then blended it into just the Serenity Blue. I've just started, kind of... Lol but I think it's looking pretty good so far. ...I also got 2 end tables from the Landfill that were in good condition to begin with but I decided to transform them, FIRST TIME EVER I Distressed anything in my life. They turned out Absolutely Gorgeous if I do say so myself. If you would like to see them I would love to share. I also just started making things with wooden pallets. First thing I made was a 24"x 24" cabinet with a secret shelf for some good friends of mine, to cover a hold in their wall. Don't ask... Lol But for right this second my new Addiction is CHALK PAINT!!!
Your explanations are wonderfully articulate. This helped me greatly! Such a wonderful teacher! ☺️ I am starting on a dark purple ombré makeup vanity as a pop of color in our grey bedroom. I cannot wait. I hope that I don’t mess it up; if I do, I can always repaint! Haha
I learn SO much from your videos, not that I'm young enough and not disabled anymore but I would have loved to try to do this. You are AMAZING. Thank you for your videos!
Hi I have been watching and searching for months to learn the blending tec., your way and easy explanation, step by step and not leaving even small details, all helped me a big deal and you were the best among all. Thank you and hoping to see more of your teaching videos. From heart my best wishes.
This was and excellent training video!! Thank you so much for your time and effort to help us newbie’s that are starting a new adventure. I have enjoyed all your videos and have learned so much so far. ❤
Thank you very much for the step by step instructions. I can definitely see how mixing the two paints for the Knigge Paint works so much better as far as Glenda goes. I was trying to go from white to blue and having a hard time. I’m going to mix the white and blue and try mixing the white and the mixed blue and white and the blue.
@@BellaRenovare Im trying hard to learn everything so I can have a viable business and not an expensive hobby. You have been a tremendous help with it all. Thank you for making your videos!!

Thank you for sharing your classes with all of us out here. I’m in the process of moving but am learning how to increase my arsenal of knowledge on what to do with my furniture to fit my house without buying new furniture but change it to fit my new home. Thanks again

Thank you for such an amazing tutorial! Your instructions were thorough and easy to follow. I used this technique on a wooden crate that will hold bridal shower gifts. It came out amazing! I wish I could post a pic to show you. Thanks again!

Absolutely great vid on how to blend color. Loved the very detailed info. But was kinda sad that the hot pink & light pink ombré dresser in the thumbnail was not featured in the video 🤷🏽♀️ Thanks so much for sharing! ☺️
I am new at refurbishing. I would like to do an ombre finish with metalic colors, using black to silver. Will the this technique work with the metalic paint?
Crys'Dawna, you know the saying " those that can, do it and those that can't teach" TOTAL BS. You have a teachers heart besides the fact that you are AMAZINGLY talented. You are so genuine and really get what people need to understand and learn. I found you by watching Brushed by Brandy. You two are my favorites!🥰 Where are you located? Near Tennessee I hope. 😉 About how often do you upload video's and which platform?
Debbie Goodwin you are so so sweet!!! Really your kind words mean a lot!! So I actually live in Germany right now we are a military family but we will be back in a few years. I have lived all over ❤️❤️

How do I paint an ombre playhouse/doghouse in kind of an Addams family style? I plan on using a bit of black, grey and white, I don’t want the black to be dominant, cause it will overheat the house for my dog Wednesday❤
I'm using soft pink and pink champagne, but my piece has drawers in it. Do I do the drawers with them in the piece. Or do I take them out, paint the shell, then finish with the drawers back in the piece?
So that’s up to you sometimes I paint the shell then put the drawers in and paint sometimes I do everything with it in then go back and touch things up, I think whatever method is more comfortable for you :)
@@BellaRenovare its my first attempt ever at blending. I went ahead and left drawers out. I'm not 100% sure how to start the drawers, I guess I'll put them in and then see how things line up. Any advice for the drawers?
Hi I'm facing s problem, when I start blending there is this paint line where i stopped painting a color, lets say edge or margin of the color and when painting the other color to blend this line stays whatever I do, like brushing harsh all direction or even circles!!! Do you think this is a quality problem or this normal and I have to cover it with more paint? I live in Europe and products are made in germany. Sorry for taking long but it is so bothering. Thank you in advance for taking time to read and reply. Best wishes.
Hi there!!! It could very well be the paint, not all are great at blending some are more of a solid finish kind of paint. BUTTTT guess what? Dixie Belle is now coming to Europe!! They are on the way to the distributor right now. I also know of a few other brands available in Europe that blend well, Annie Sloan and autentico are two that blend well ❤️❤️

Great question, it could yes :) but it also depends on what colors you will do. I am actually working on a more current video for an ombré blend this week it should be up in a day or two. It’s funny how the way I blend has evolved over the years so it will be different :)
I have a pic that I would like to do on a dresser but not sure what steps to follow thru with it...can you give me some direction? I could send you the pic
Amy Mitchell hi Amy is do they each side at a time but try to do it all within an hour or two because the paint can be reactivated and blended. Does that make sense?
Help! Can’t get rid of the demarcation line. I’m using Dixie Bell. I wish I could send you a picture of my project for you to see. I would love some suggestions. I’m a perfectionist and this is driving me crazy. I’m determined to master this.
okay try this, so you put your base coat on correct. let that dry. Then when you put your second coat that you will blend move the separation line up just slightly, does that make sense?
@@BellaRenovare yes it does! I played around with it more last night and got rid of the line but I don’t know that I have that gradual dark to light now. I may have lost the true ombré look. Thank you for your response!
