I swear man, Roglic and crashes go together like bread and butter
Poor team. They are not keeping him in the front like UAE and Jumbo. In the back is where all the problems are and that is where he is living.
He is so ready to get to the high mountains. I think a lot of people are looking at yesterday as a big wake-up call but it looks like Tadej is still on his game. Vingegaard is on form as well. Going to be a battle for the ages.
I can not wait for the big mountains! I really hope its going to be a crasy battle and not one of them loosing alot of minutes like last tour, with Tadej saying : im gone im dead.
Hopefully he had the form for a fight.
What's going to hurt Vingegaard is his lack of climbers on his team. He beat Pog last year because he had Sepp and Roglic putting Pog on the limit all the time. UAE has a better team at this tour and will shelter Pog enough that he will continue to add to his lead. Jonas is strong but his FTP is slightly lower and you will see Pog break away on a big climb (one that doesn't have a downhill afterwards) and take another 20-30 seconds on Jonas.

I hope Pog can do it but I really lack faith in team UAE.

primoz needs to learn to stay out of trouble , all he needs to do is stay with pog and Jonas , on these sprint stages and he wont fall on his ass

Somehow he cannot manage to do it. It is a bit strange at this level, he is facing same issues over and over again.
Have you ever tried to stay in the 100+ man peleton going 60km/h through some narrow curvy roads? It's easier said than done just "stay out of trouble". But I agree, Roglic falls way too much, I think it might be due to the fact that he only transitioned to cycling quite late in his career, so he might not have this "natural feeling" of the peleton that people who compete in cycling from a young age have.
@@lasq88 No we haven't try, but that's not our daily job, is it? I mean, if the guy is not able to place himself properly in a peloton when he wants to be a GC contender on a grand tour, I don't know what to say... Everybody can have a crash and cycling is a dangerous sport, but it's happening a bit too often to him to just "being unlucky"

poor bike handling in the bunch/poor positioning in the peloton/general lack of race awareness - I think chris horner covered in a few weeks back when he picked up him causing a crash in dauphine

@@claire2088In general yes, but today it was 0% his fault. His team didn't position him better in the peloton and he couldn't react in any way to prevent a crash

@@schmuwabu not really sure about that. Pogacar himself had catlike reflexes a couple of days back, if primoz would've been in that situation probably he would have been down. What i'm trying to say is that in this specific incident he was the only one arriving so fast and probably lacked JUST A LITTLE race awareness, its not like he's bad but probabaly all the others are better. Very unlucky too obviously

Today stage Lutsenko is the GENIUS of the TDF 2024 like Colbrelli in TDF 2021 Stage 3. Primož will soon quit the TDF race for 3rd time. 2 times at least because of others. It's bad luck or whatever. Primož try another day, it will be difficult without Vlasov, UAE and VISMA are in a class of their own, especially after the fall of Primož Roglič

Lets just give Roglic a new nickname "Crash" the poor guy has more bad luck than just about any top tier talent I've ever seen. Heal up Primoz, I feel for ya.

Pogacar does not give a shit about Roglic. He even told Remco to not focus on Roglic and he was right.
Roglic is not a rival to any of the Big 3. Pogacar only has his eyes set on Vingegaard.

He told Remco not to worry about Primoz in the sense that Remco can match him and doesn’t have to be afraid that Roglic is much stronger, which is quite different than to say he shouldn’t focus on Roglic.
But yeah Tadej probably doesn’t care that much about Roglic. It’s probably like some colleague you know but who works in another department and who you only see at work.
Also it’s way to harsh on Roglic to demand that he should retire just because he can’t keep up with the best 3 GC riders. That is absolutely not reason to retire
