If you love the first two movies, then I think you´re gonna like this one. It is what it is and it doesn´t pretend to be something else. Better than a lot of reboots!
Um, it's absolutely a reboot. Yes it's a part 4, so it could be called a legacy sequel if you prefer trendy titles for things. But having a part 3 in 1994, then a part 4 thirty years later is actually the definition of rebooting a franchise, since the word reboot literally means to "start something up again".
🎥Bronson Pinchot looks less like Serge and more like Kevin Bacons character George from the movie Beauty Shop LOL! And it is no coincidence that Kevin Bacon is in this movie LOL!🤔✂💇💈
I’ve watched it twice! I absolutely loved it! I’ll admit on the second watch I noticed how much it dragged in the middle, but I still thought it was phenomenal. I definitely thnk you were a bit hard on it playing it safe with the way it was shot. It was supposed to feel like an 80 s action movie. It felt like they just didn’t want to over think it! That being said this was my first time watching your channel and I really enjoyed it! Subbing for sure!
Thanks for watching and huge thanks for the sub I appreciate it and hope you did the content! I've actually watched Axel another time and I was a little hard on the story but to me the look of the film was off. I felt a recent movie like Road House was shot to look like an 80s movie but it still had that cinematic polish to it. So it felt like a modernization of an 80s action flick. Axel F does deliver some great action sequences. But the film between these moment lacked that polish and felt like something closer to a series like The Lincoln Lawyer. But again, far from a dealbreaker. It was great to see Murphy back with his Foley energy!
Axel F. was a pretty good. It plays more like a tv reunion movie rather than big budget Hollywood sequel and I am okay with that. For all it's faults and there are a few, the movie was atleast entertaining enough that I enjoyed it. It was no Last jedi or Dial of Destiny, Thank God! And for that, I am so thankful. 3 stars out of 4. Being generous.
I had fun with it despite its issues too. Much better than 3. There were a few entertaining action sequences and effective laughs. The story just needed dialed in a bit to tighten some of the subplots up some. Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
@@MoviesNeverSayDie this film would really benefit from a good fan edit. Cut out about ten, fifteen minutes. Tighten it up by fixing some of the sillier stuff (opening scene partner for one). I am sure someone will do it on reddit.
YOUR REVIEW OF BEVERLY HILLS COP AXEL F WAS HORRIBLE I ABSOLUTELY HATED IT THAT MOVIE IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC THERE IS NOT ONE THING WRONG WITH THAT MOVIE IT IS PERFECT I GIVE IT A 10 OUT OF 10 STARS RATING
I think the direction is the biggest downfall of the movie ,it’s just to bland. It’s like they used the bare minimum of camera setups, nothing seems to have any coverage .
Wasn't really that good. Way overkill on the destroying property action. It was too much. They tried too hard. The acting was fine. And i guess the story was ok.. 1 out 5, i would give it a 3
To me the story was the main issue. It was all stuff we've seen before in storytelling so the pace should've been much tighter. Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻

I agree there! It wasn't bad. Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
How can you compare this to a reboot. It's a part 4.. in no way or form is that a reboot
@@JacobDean88 Alright sequel then...Geez

I enjoy your thoughts on movies!.. This one is a tight sequel compared to its predecessor
Thanks so much! Yeah I had fun with this one, and enjoyed it much more than 3 for sure.

I give it 8 out of 10.
Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
I wasn't sure at first but it got better, but what happened to his laugh?
That was his real laugh once, but he changed it because he didn´t like people laughing at his laugh, instead of laughing at the joke.
I had a good time with it for what it was. I do miss the old Foley laugh though!
C plus, yeesh
It's certainly has its moments though. Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
C+ not solid, not going to waste my time... I trust your opinion.
Not a great film but not bad, its fan service plays well, good action, effective comedy. The story and direction were a bit of a miss though.
You shouldn't as it's better than he says.

Completely agree there, it was simplistically directed for sure which just made it feel like a smaller TV movie.

Only enjoyed the first one, and that was when I watch it 35 years ago
I think the first 2 hold up pretty well. Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
It was not worth the 30 year wait. Not bad but not all that great.
Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
