Out of all my watches including a spree last few months I find myself going to my tan wrist ‘clock’ AE1500. Cheap, comfortable, functional and a pleasure to wear 🍻 cheers
Hello all! Anyone can tell me how to avoid G-shock straps "decay" ? Explanation: due to a very humid environment, I keep my collection in windowed boxes; despite so, the rubber/silicon straps develop a kind of oily surface, bringing fast to the collaps of the material and they break down. Any suggestion? Thanks.
What I do, who live in the hot and humid tropical island. I never put any rubber/silicone strap watch in the box. Even the ventilated one. Just hang it somewhere in the room temperature. Even better when the room have some good ventilation.
Hi Greg. I have a GW-530A which at this moment is 16 years and 4 months old, and without the radio signal is running faster by 1,5 secs a day!!! Bought though used at the very beginning of 2022 for 18$.
Brilliant set of Casio watches I bought the black one recently it does - 20 seconds a month the only Casio I own that actually is losing time thanks Greg lovely video
-Have the khaki one & love it-not many cheap non-G shock Casio watches have a countdown timer. I use it to time my bike trainer intervals. Easy to read without reading glasses & a SUPERB value. 🔥
Often, the last letters in the model name will refer to the place where the watch is intended to be sold. The back of the watch itself may only say "AE1500". The number 8 will refer to the color of the watch face, case and/or strap. The rest of the letters may refer to this being a release intended for just Japan or Europe OR it might mean the watch is meant to be sold at warehouse clubs like Sam's Club or Costco (although they don't carry them at warehouse clubs much anymore). So, my suspicion is that there's really no difference between the AE15008bvdf and the AE15008b. Only the box in which the watch is shipped will be marked differently.
This looks like it'd be a good work watch for me. I work construction and I have two other beater Casios for work. But I love the size of this display.
Dear Greg, thanks for your videos. I really like them, I like your attitude to watches And to life in general. I am writing to you from the Russian city of Krasnoyarsk, this is in Siberia. I have a question. What sites or apps do you use to set your watch to atomic time?
Thank you for watching! Here in the USA I like to use www.time.gov and I also use an app called Emerald Time on my iPhone. I also use my G-Shock watches and other Casio watches which have Multiband 6 atomic time reception.
Yes… my Oceanus. You can’t see it in the video but I was wearing a black-and-yellow Rangeman on my left wrist too while recording this. Lots of options around here!
I was really hyped about this one, but I barely wear it because it's so damn uncomfortable. The module is amazing and I really hope Casio reuse it in something styled after their analog ProTreks.
I suppose he is pertaining to SKMEI 1426 which, indeed, has the same module as this Casio. Different external features, but interface-wise, they are practically the same. By the way, I have both the Casio and SKMEI watches, so I was able to compare.
This watch is astounding value, even by Casio standards.
Positive big display, inexpensive, 10 years battery. can't go wrong with this Casio AE1500.
Thanks for the review.
This watch is sturdy, bulky and very good value for money.
It bugs me that Casio made this nice, big, easy to read display while their G-Shocks were just the opposite!

I really like this watch but unfortunately it’s too chunky for my 6 inch wrist
28$ is very cheap. I live in Sweden and I bought the black AE1500 on Amazon for the equivalent of 37.56 $.
In the EU, Casio is always double the price than in the US.
The tempered glass screen protector intended for the 43mm Galaxy Watch 6 Classic fits the ae1500 perfectly.
Tnx
The thought that you need a “spare” watch made me smile
How to remove the beep when changing modes? Thanks
It's really helpful to see them all together. Thanks for making this video.
Brilliant set of Casio watches I bought the black one recently it does - 20 seconds a month the only Casio I own that actually is losing time thanks Greg lovely video
Great watches and video - have the black, green and tan. I wish they would make a white one.
-Have the khaki one & love it-not many cheap non-G shock Casio watches have a countdown timer. I use it to time my bike trainer intervals. Easy to read without reading glasses & a SUPERB value. 🔥
I have three of them and negative one is the coolest
If you're young and have good eyes, enjoy it. As we age, positive is the way to go.
Built like a G. Sturdy and tough.
Looks like the new mudman
hi what's the difference between ae1500 8bvdf from ae1500 8b

I got the blue one for 16 pounds in the uk like you I’ve yet to wear it amazing bargain 👍
Hi there 😊 I'm also in the UK. Where did you buy this for £16?
That Blue looks very, very nice, its exactly good looking just like my very own 1A.
Thank you for this great comparison.
Saya memesannya dishoppe
Tidak menunggu jam tangan saya long strap kombinasi gold thanks for review again..greg
This looks like it'd be a good work watch for me. I work construction and I have two other beater Casios for work. But I love the size of this display.
What's the diameter of the display screen?
The diameter of the display screen is 3.4cm.
I really like this watch but unfortunately it’s too chunky for my 6 inch wrist
Thanks man !
Berharap saya mendapat 1 dari jam tangan ini dari anda greg
Is there a model with blue or green light?

Not complaining about the watches that the video features, but I love the watch on your wrist.
Yes… my Oceanus. You can’t see it in the video but I was wearing a black-and-yellow Rangeman on my left wrist too while recording this. Lots of options around here!
how did you get them to sync?
Mana yg lebih anda rekomendasikan untuk tentara long strap atau standart ?
Long Strap lebih banyak memberi pilihan...mau di pakai di dalam pergelangan seragam/jaket tebal. Atau dipakai diluar nya. 👍🏼
Great review as always.

Greg, request to review the Casio DW290 “mission impossible” watch
Just bought a Skmei version,,,,has a 10 year battery and 100m WR.....$5. Not sure how long it will last for but it appears really well made!
which model please?
I suppose he is pertaining to SKMEI 1426 which, indeed, has the same module as this Casio. Different external features, but interface-wise, they are practically the same.

@@Tulisan777 thanks
@@Tulisan777os the display the same? I own skymei watches myself but compared to Casio, the display have a lot of shadows in certain angles.
The Skmei version is an inferior build quality. Still good though.
