Marques Colston and the New Orleans Saints match up against Champ Bailey and the Denver Broncos in a game from the 2012 season in a Brees vs Manning SNF game.
Colston caught 2 passes on 5 targets against Bailey for 24 yards. Colston finished with 64 yards in the game, with 24 yards coming against Bailey. Bailey defended 1 pass when covering Colston. Who won the matchup? 🤔
I'm glad you haven't forgotten Marques, he has to be one of the most underrated wide receivers in history. I swear, whenever a Saints player flourishes, people make so many excuses to bring them down.
@@thexannyphantom5532 LOL yes, yes he is. he is stratospheres better than marques hes really one of the best to ever do it, top 5 at least all time when you look at his creds but people leave him off those lists constantly. colston was never even top 5 among his contemporaries lol
Can't believe people don't think Brees is an all time great QB. He has all the major records. Yards, TDs, completion percentage. You like film better, that's great. Look at his accuracy and ability to manipulate safeties.
Sad part is, most kids these days don't watch film, they look at stats, or they just judge a player based off of their team. Also, there's a lot of bias against the Saints, so of course anytime a Saints player does amazing, they don't get much credit.
People knew he was good. This video was made because people know he's good. The commentators are aware of it. And I'm pretty sure he was always a mid-80's low 90's in madden games. He's good, but not underrated
Marques had a pretty good night despite the team as a whole being dismantled. (MAINLY THE DEFENSE! WHAT A LOVELY SEASON HAVING YOUR COACH SUSPENDED AND HAVING THE #1 WORST DEFENSE!) I may give Marques this one, he did pretty well on these targets and surprisingly dominated on majority of targets against Champ Bailey. I miss Marques, but I'm glad we have Michael.

"aLL hE rUnS iS sLaNtS" most of his yards came after the catch
@@matthewhyman2208 Yeah, and in 2016-2018, he did exceptionally well, and didn't run slants THAT much, but no one gave him credit. :/
champ bailey is more underrated
@@seneormoneybags no he is not

Marques Colston now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long long time
Champ is the GOAT corner. Still shutting down #1s in 2012 when he should have been well past his prime

Who doesn’t think that easily a top 5 qb all time
@@Mendezzzz A lot of bandwagon fans that are biased and repeat anything they see on ESPN.
@@Mendezzzz too many people
@@Mendezzzz I mean just look at the official all time team. Brees and Polamalu were HUGE snubs
