You must be a great salesman, you are selling the heck out of the trail. I’m contemplating for 2024, your vids make me want to do it right now. My biggest obstacle is not being able to bring my dog that I’d miss dearly. Obviously section hiking it crosses my mind. The Cascades look amazing!!! I love the contrast of greenery, blue sky and the snow hanging on in the cracks. ❤
Great stuff again Outlaw. Dropping more wisdom is becoming the norm for this channel. I loved how you reflected on savoring the journey. No matter how much we think we will return to this place or that, the truth is we can never know when and if we will pass this way again. As I get older (over 50 now), these thoughts pass through my mind more frequently. So, yeah, I love what you said about enjoying the moment when it’s happening. Thx again. Peace and happy trails.
These shots of the Cascades are incredible. I didn't realize just how amazing. You are inspiring me to do a hike there. Thank you also for the words of wisdom to take the time to really live in the moment and take it all in while we can. As always, blessings on you journey.
Pushing it is not only to make it a job, it is mainly because ine gets so curious and wants to see what is around the next bend, and the next, and the next.... I'm hoping you will make a looooooong PCT vidoe with Wilson's contents when you get home. And I definitely want you to do my favourite trail I will never be able to do because I want to see your excellent footage of it. Your next adventure; The Cretan Way!
You do such a great job at capturing the beautiful scenery. I gave you two thumbs up for this one (I used my husbands UA-cam account for the second one 😅) Enjoy your town day.
Sometimes thruhiking can feel like being swept along by an unrelenting juggernaut: Forward!! Crack of dawn away! In & out of towns! “What date did you start ?… (🐢💭)”. Zerozeros. To consciously counter the Pull i set specific goals: #1-NEVER walk past a photo op 2- set personal SKT record😊; 3-savour the small Trail towns; 4-complete a continuous footpath b4 i got kicked out of the country. Swimming at every op seems like another great way to enjoy the magic.
Sorry y’all accidentally released 51 prior to 50… slight technical error 😂 it’ll be out tomorrow!
The views, the lakes, the moutain tops! They just keep getting more beautiful! ♥
🥰
They do call it the Alps of Washington. So wonderful, so beautiful.

Thanks Glaze. I don’t consider myself wise just rambling thoughts from a hiker lol

They truly are forgotten about, I believe since they are so remote, but 1000% worth visiting
Yay 50!!! 😂
Yeah slight technical error there haha
My home state for 48 years, I’m in Montana now but I’ll go back one of these days!
John Muir said it best:
The mountains are calling, and I must go.
I don't recall him ever mentioning mileage.
You're on the right path, Jack.
Haha ol John Muir was such a legend

The Cretan Way? I’ll have to look into that! More to come with the Wilson footage soon!
