    If you wanted to make bigger booties you would add rows on after they're connected??

    What thickness of yarn should you use?

    • @DadTravelClub
      @DadTravelClub  9 років тому

      Keely Raye Any really, the thicker the warmer, I think 4, 5 or 6 are good for these.

    what loom size and how many rows would you recommend to make this bootie for a 3 month old? I really want to try this but the baby is now 3 (almost 4) months old.

    • @Morggie42789
      @Morggie42789 7 років тому

      Deanna Wright I used bulky yarn and it came out super cute but too big for a newborn. Could definitely fit a 3 to 4 month old. I used the soft bulky baby yarn.

    • @DadTravelClub
      @DadTravelClub  10 років тому

      tina cobb I took three single strings of white yarn and braided them, then tied it like you would a regular shoelace :D

    It is possible to do it besides knitting and without the loom

      I'm not sure I understand, Do you mean just knitting baby booties with knitting needles and using no loom?

    are they to little for a newborn they look really little

    • @DadTravelClub
      @DadTravelClub  10 років тому +1

      They fit the newborn they were made for!
      If your newborn has longer feet you can always make it longer by simply adding more rows! It's super easy to tailor the patter to any size.
