In general is bulky the best size yarn to work with this loom? I mostly have worsted weight at home and was wondering if I'm going to need to pick up some bulky too.
Hi suebob16! Bulky yarn works great on this loom but I've also used worsted weight and it looks good. You can also use two strands of worsted weight at a time to make it look bulky. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching :)
Hi Beth! I honestly haven't tried this pattern on a round loom but I think it can be done. The amount of pegs it has will determine the size/width of your finished project. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching :)
Hi @Crazy cat lady Inglis! Yes, you can use any loom - the amount of pegs you use will determine the width of your finished project. Thank you so much for watching, all glory to God!

I altered the pattern slightly to make them fit newborn feet. I only used 12 pegs instead of all 16. For the cuff, I did 4 rounds, after folding I did 3, for the heel I did 4, and after the heel I finished up with 8 rounds. Just eyeballing it, it looks like this will be the perfect size for 0-3 months.
Hi Marie, the reason your flat knit is getting too tight could be that you’re using too much yarn tension. When placing the yarn in front of the pegs, try to leave it as loose as possible. Hi Mary, thank you so much for watching! All glory to God :) I honestly haven't tried an adult version for this pattern but I think any scarf-rectangular loom should work. The amount of pegs you use will determine the width of your finished project. You can mark the specific amount of pegs that make a comfortable width for your foot size using a bed sock you like as a reference. Easy to follow but when I finished the sock seemed really big for a baby, and my heel wasn't as visible. But I'm reading in the comments people have done more rows then the instructions say. Could someone help me out? Trying to make this for a friend's premie bay.
Either or depending on what loom you use and adjustment to rows. 12 peg flower loom perfect for a new born. 24 peg loom for adults. If you have adjustable loom you can make toddlers. On a 16 peg loom if you have the newest looms you can make all differ sizes. Just remember to adjust the rows accordingly as well as pegs on your loom. I love this pattern.😊
Hi Joanna! Thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked it :) ~ Yes, you can use any rectangular loom. The amount of pegs you use to knit will determine the size/width of your finished project. For this video I used 16 pegs (8 on each side) and a bulky yarn.
You make the heel look so easy to do on this rectangular loom. Thanks so much. I have got to try this. Usually, I use a round loom and there is a hole in the heel somewhere.

How many times do we need to do the e-knit and flat knit for the heels?
No answer wondering same thing it don't say
On the video, it says knit half of your loom with an e-wrap and the other half with a flat knit for 8 rounds.

What size of loom are you using
I'm using a mini rectangular loom with a 4 1/2 inch base and 16 pegs. Thanks for watching!

Sherrie if you have a 12 peg flower loom would be perfect size for a newborn
What is the length of the sock? Newborn or toddler size?
