- Toad debuted the new song "Listen" at the first Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center benefit concert in July 1993. They recorded the song for Dulcinea after which it saw frequent inclusion during the 1994 tours. The song has been played sparingly since that time. This July 21st, 1994 performance from the Metro in Chicago, IL serves as a nice reminder of how powerful the song was during the 1994 tours. A standout song from Toad in which the music just smashes you. So great. "So is there nothing that lies in between
This cold silence and a scream?"
Not just one of my favorite Toad songs but one of my most favorite waltzes.
It doesn't get much better than this!❤✌
They wrote such great songs. Incredible.
My favorite ttws song. I can't say enough about this song. It hits me every time.
Toad at the peak of their powers . One of my fav tunes on my very fav tour of theirs.
Thank you for this!!
Miss you Rosie 🌹
This song wakes up the soul 😊👍❤️
Love this song.
Toad the Wet Sprocket IS IN MY TOP 5 favorite bands of all time
Glen is very poetic in his songs 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for uploading - one of my favorite ttws songs
This is a great Glen screaming song. Very powerful.
RIP Cooter...
non fans will be surprised by the dark nature of a ton of their songs
Dulcinea in particular isn’t a very uplifting record, at least not to me. But that adds to it
Freakin amazing
I have loved Toad since 1994. I agree with the comment that it doesn’t get any better than this!
Unreal song and performance. I had a bit of trouble hearing Glenn's guitar though. Todd's was loud and clear
i'm a liar, so it seems...my desire......justify anything....
favourite by them, they should have had more recognition like the goo goo dolls, matchbox 20 ,gin blossoms who i love too.
Todd Nichols is very underrated as a guitarist. I’d rather listen to his playing than any one of the million flashy “musicians” who can shred and effectively say absolutely nothing of any substance
25 years ago this song made me feel ok about realizing there is no god. For me, anyway.
