Hey everyone, I am back with "Ten Seconds To Love". This was definitely the toughest to learn so far! The solo is seemingly Mick Mars just playing the pentatonic as fast as he could with little regard to rhythm, so it found very difficult to play it note for note. I did end up with a take that captured the essence of the solo quite well I think. Do let me know in the comments how I did! Thanks :D
Favorite band coming up in the 80's and still one of my favorites to this day. TSTL is one of my if not my favorite song they had as well. You sounded pretty dang close to Mick, somehow.\m/

One of my favorite Crue songs. I've always like their darker stuff. I think Theater Of Pain is severely underrated. Save Our Souls is one of my favorite Crue songs. I've been a Crue fan since the 80's. Did you know they had like 10 other songs that didn't make it onto Shout At The Devil? I had a demo tape with them. It also had several different versions of the song Shout At The Devil.
Hey man, yeah this is also one of my favorites! I also like ToP, it has some good songs on it. I didn’t know about the Shout Demo tape but I am intrigued!
@@fizzysuxx You might be able to find them. One was called Black Widow there were two versions. Another was called Running Wild In The Night it's on youtube. One of the versions of Shout At The Devil had Vince screaming I'm fucking evil at the end as the song faded out.

Being technical on a instrument and actually writing songs is so different. A lot of technicians on youtube. Are they famous for songs, no they are not. In cooking and music sometimes less is more.
In what tone are you playing standard?
It’s standard but all the strings tuned down one tone (e down to d etc)
I really can't tell what you are playing on your own with the track in the background. I mean one ax man trying to play like on the album. It isn't about going against the rythym because on the album the rythym guitar is there under the solo. Live is totally different. Try playing Tony Iomi with three solos on recorded songs. You have to pick one to play but which one? That is the one good thing about the internet. You can watch them live and listen. Skynerd is easy because three guitarists and ACDC ain't too bad with two. But Mick does a good job live with one guitar and coming as close to the recorded sound he can. In the late eighties I spent a lot of money when tickets were less than 12 dollars and gas less than a dollar playing in a cover band. I spent a lot of time waiting for autographs before meet and greets just to ask the axman, "how the fuck?" Randy Rhoads in Dallas told me to just play it. And there was no secret and he fucked up a lot too. I lost his autograph. In a studio you can play it a thousand times and make it perfect but live you get one try and to give everyone a good time and they will never hear your fuckups.
So actually make a vid without the track song in the background? That would be the real test. It will sound fucked up though and not quite right but that is composition.
