I've seen them as special guest for Hypocrisy a week ago, and I was sad they only had time to play their most known ones and from the last 3-5 Albums. I really wanted to hear some songs off sumerian demons live (unbeliever, when all is none, infernal sun etc.)as well as the "lesser" known bangers like Prometheus, five pointed star, sangreal etc. I was very happy to see them since they are my number one death metal band, and I had to see their talent at least once in my life time. Now I want to see them again but as a solo act so they can play for two hours and I get to hear all the songs I love. 😭🤘
@@thex6992 Trust me, they’re not going to play those early albums. I’ve only seen them three times, twice at a festival, and once where they were a supporting act. My understanding is that when Communion came out they opted to reinvent themselves, they even changed how they spelled the bands name - Septic Flesh to Septicflesh. That period before the name change is who they aren’t anymore (I mean we’ll never get a song along the lines from A Fallen Temple, or Mystic Places at Dawn again). So they’ve left that era in the dust.
At most you’d hear Pyramid God from the Great Mass album. I forget if Five Pointed Star gets included on their setlist.
My personal favorite album was Esoptron. We’ll never get those songs again 😆

It’s called the swivel technique. There are a bunch of explanation videos of that on YT.
