Christos "Best Hair in the Game" Antoniou
True. Inspired
Christos is a genius man. He does beautiful evil music. I trully hope he gets to do his opera
Can you imagine Christos composing an opera about Dracula? That would be sooooo incredible
i love this band. and i just found out about them. the fact that this guy is a masters level composer is just mindblowing to me.
watch their concert with full orchestration in Mexico, it's like a tiny piece of his dream and an awesome one
Septicflesh with orchestration!?...... Dream come true. Mexico 2019
any chance to interview Sakis Tolis from Rotting Christ ?
The beasts from Greece \m/
Just saw Septicflesh live yesterday and I wondered why he wasn't very emotional and interacting with the audience during the concert, but now I learn why since he is classically trained. He's got that classical musician pokerface going :) Loved the concert though and it was one of the best live music experiences I had.
Beautifully shot b-roll and excellent interview, love this band and it was cool hearing from Christos
Huge artist
Septic Flesh is one of my favorites! Great interview!
An opera with influences from Stravinsky and Xenakis written by Christos. I’ll be there wherever the premier is.
We had the privilege to enjoy their show in Malta, thank u SepticFlesh for coming
Damn!, when that dude composes his Opera, I wanna know about it! x') btw, Seth Siro Anton's work rocks hard!!!
2:31 ... nice editing. Watch his shirt haha.
#shhhhhhh
Yeah, You catch it? now gone... hahaha
Lionel Ulloa Jr. It's not though?
Any chance of a bootleg review of Ihsahn's Amr
Idk why but I love his accent
yeah...that's how most Greek people speak haha..im proud to be Greek (for once) hahaha
Christina X Hi neighbour
Excellent interview, I really enjoyed that 🙏
Love from greece
First thing i thought about with their costumes were the xenomorphs from the alien movies.
Awesome insight and interview
i use to play with my brother and on tour we bitched at each other all the time BUT if somebody else said something ... i went DONT U SAY THAT about my brother or u can collect your teeth on your way out !! lol
Great interview 🙌
Damn I need to be on one of these cruises
Fucking love this band!!!
This channel has the best interviewers bar Hot Ones.
2:31 t-shirt gone to hell in a new york time second suddenly appears another one hahaha
i think the costumes helped them in detroit... was freezing at harpos, great show, but so so cold lol
Christos speaks english like we mexicans, maybe bcause greek sounds like spanish.
Ι am a Greek myself and I can confirm that. Sometimes there is a Spanish show playing on my TV and I listen to the conversations and I am like "wtf did I suddenly forgot myGreek?" :P
There is a saying in Spain: If you ever listen to Spanish and you don't understand shit, then it's probably Greek. We have the same accent and we use the same vowels.
Love from Greece!
Some common sounds in greek and spanish
Literally walked up on stage when they were playing the pool deck with my girl and a friend and watched from the side with the Roadies. Not one person said anything. That's the lax situation on the boat. It's amazing. Well be back in less than a fucking month!!!!!
There was a cut from Daniel in a different shirt (was it Chrome Division or something?) back to the Destructor shirt with seemingly no explanation. I demand behind-the-scenes explanations! :P
MMMMMAAAARRRTYYYYYYYRRRRR!!!
He has a different shirt every shot
Όταν έχεις μάθει αγγλικά στο σχολείο σαν υποχρεωτικό μάθημα..
😍😍😍
Well, im pretty sure Greece has more than 2-3 bands haha. Weird.
Ah ok. I see.
Don't forget about Near Mataron
Yes it has. It sounded mean to me what he said at that point.
5:28 I don't quite catch the second person (Igor Stravinsky and who??)
Iannis Xenakis
Πρέπει να μετρήσουμε πόσες φορές είπε you know ο Χρήστος χαχα=
We need to count the number of times Christos said "you know" haha
xT3chn0 W!zardx the second i finished reading this he said you know
have brad review REVERENCE by Parkway Drive
I hate when my costumes get stinky too. 🤘
03:34 this guy asks him about the scene in greece and he responds that we dont have many metal bands in greece, only 2-3 ?
WTF Is he on drugs or what, the black metal scene in greece is one of the biggest worldwide with so many famous bands so what the fuck is he talking about?
I love septicflesh but I sure hope people don't think that this is a typical greek accent.
its not?
Ye, it is xD
I'm from Spain, and when I hear people speaking Greek, I usually think that the accent and general sound is very similar to that of Spanish (I mean, even when I don't understand a single Greek word, I guess it could pass for Spanish to the distracted listener). And now, curiously enough, this Greek guy speaks English with exactly the same accent that the not so perfectly trained Spanish speakers have when they speak English. I mean, I could easily believe that he's a guy from Madrid speaking in English.
@@petecanthropus9947 Yeah bro, Greek & Spanish phonology is pretty similar. Sometimes if I listen to people speaking Greek when I don't expect it, I pass it as Spanish, and conversely.
@@SenorCollarbone Exactly what I wanted to mean, but said by someone who speaks better English than me: Shorter and to the point :)
Προφορά από τα lidl 👌😂
Ποια Iidl; Από τα Jumbo...
Μάλιστα Κύριε Καταναλωτή!!!
Στο κάτω ράφι βρίσκονται οι φτηνιάρες προσφορες!!!!!
Did he fix his nose?
I think Septic Flesh makes too much use of the opera. They should think about writing more killer riffs than piano and cello parts. Anyway was nice seeing Lil'Wayne talking. :)
Those parts make their songs so much more unique and heavy though, but your opinion is your own.
@@nikosspyris agreed
That's actually one of the best and personally one of my favorite things about Septicflesh, the convination of metal and orchestra makes their sound so unique and powerful.
Hw actually wants to do
The opposite
metal needs a fiery bloody scratching rebirth against whatever exists right now. this derivative shit is not it
