The very first video of the Alaska Boys was when Hunter shot his first Caribou. I wasn't signed up to UA-cam yet, just checking it out. I knew they had music, that's about it. I typed in hunting & fishing Alaska, and you video appeared. I was amazed, I even shared it with a friend up in Washington State. Needless to say I was hooked. Shortly after that I joined UA-cam & I have been fans of the Hamm family since!!! My favorite part of this Moose hunt was when you said "In order for it to be a successful trip you don't have to pull the trigger." I started blubbering right away...so true, Mark! I'm so happy to see your posting again, this was awesome!!! 👍👍
Discovery Channel should watch Alaska Boys and learn how it's done. Their scripted reality shows are no match for the Hamm's. The video with Mark telling Hunter before he was born, he wasn't in his imagination and (Now knowing him) is so glad he is here 💞 That reality is what people need. Hunter and his brothers are very fortunate to have parents who adore, love, are grateful for them.
This is so much fun! My nephew who is 16 just got his pilot's license and is hiking through 64 miles through New Mexico. This seem like a precursor to his adventures.
I just subscribed to "This Alaska life" and I love it so much! Lauren is amazing and I love her spirit. I didn't know you had a channel until she mentioned it. I am so excited to follow your journey and watch the boys in action. God bless you.
Great job Hunter Mark your doing a great job showing your kids how to survive. I enjoy this very much I'm 68 and live upstate NY and enjoy your travels
@@AlaskaBoys Live in Northern Ontario Canada so have seen many while walking. The closet was a pair of yearlings who ran in front of us no more than 10 feet away. The female stopped in front of us and the male was farther away. Just keep still and quiet and they moved on.
I can't wait to take my son on his first moose hunt this year hopefully we will get great video like you have been able to. My one thought is Holy BUGGS!!!!! if you use bug repellant will it hurt you hunt? I Like your videos and it has given me a good Idea of what to shoot for. Keep it up thanks. BOUTDOORSALASKA
I'm in Pa 1:28Pm and caught this video. Was just wondering when you have some(Moose) on you house land why fly to go get one? Love you family adventures.
He needs a sling on that rifle,. Easier to carry, safer and doesn't have to worry about jamming the barrel in the ground and packing it with mud if he trips.
Hunter looks so like Lauren in parts of this video!x

Great video.
I would have STAYED where you seen/heard those first bulls....

There are quite a few restrictions on hunting close to our house, so chances of success go up quickly as we go out further away.
Because Hunter is still young does he go on your tag? That is how it works where I live in Ontario.I think once he is 16 he can have his own.
He’s on his own tag at his age. I think over 11 they can get their own tags in AK.
is there videos coming anymore?
Sons first moose 🫎 is definitely a milestone 👍🏼
Just outta curiosity…how old is your son?
New to your channel, sure wish you got one.
We just might have…. You’ll have to watch the next few videos.
❤
How would you carry the meat
On our backs, 60 lbs at a time back to the boat/plane.
I couldn't hunt with all those skeeters
They are thick up here.
Have you stopped making videos?
Sort of, we have four that need to get edited, but life’s other responsibilities are taking priority right now.
Ho
Dr disrespect?
Poor thing 😢beautiful wilslife ..I don't like this its not necessary to survive. It's bad enough we kill cows ..
Use your moose call to hear with too
That works well, we just didn’t get it on video. 👍

I totally agree and we added on on our next trip out I believe. It has one now.
Great video
