    Tony Monaco is an American jazz organist and composer. Born in 1959 in Columbus, Ohio, Monaco began playing the accordion at a young age before discovering the Hammond organ in his teens. He was deeply influenced by jazz organists such as Jimmy Smith and Jimmy McGriff.
    Monaco's career took off when he was discovered by jazz guitar legend Pat Martino, who invited him to join his band. Since then, Monaco has become renowned for his virtuosic organ playing, showcasing a dynamic and soulful style that fuses jazz, blues, and funk.
    Throughout his career, Monaco has released numerous albums as a bandleader and has collaborated with esteemed jazz musicians, including saxophonist Gene Bertoncini and guitarist Fareed Haque. His recordings have received critical acclaim for their inventive arrangements and his technical prowess on the organ.
    In addition to his performing career, Monaco is also an experienced educator. He has conducted workshops and masterclasses worldwide, sharing his knowledge and passion for jazz organ with aspiring musicians.
