"they all look different" - so true, it reminds me when they arrived at the concert venue in Belgium in june (I was part of the staff), I didn't instantly recognised them(I was busy unloading their gear), it took me a few seconds to realise it was Asami greeting us 😄. Btw they were totally adorable , exactly as you see them in those behind-the-scene moments here.
I was at the New Cross Inn gig in London this year, and was in the queue for the merch stall which was down stairs from the auditorium. The queue stretched back up the stairs, when I heard the voice behind say 'Excuse us' and turned around to see Asami and Fami coming down the stairs in their street clothes smiling and saying hi to everyone. It was a totally unreal moment to be within touching distance two of my favourite musicians, who are also total sweethearts. They seem so modest and appreciative of their fans. A memory I cherish. 🥰

Its just fun to see Asami jumping around here while normally she is just pure elegance with her slow ballet movements. Then of course seeing them all in casual clothes is also something different, and i really love Famis boots 🥰 Andthen of course all the "behind the scenes" stuff with switching instruments is quite funny. Thanks for making Wednesdays better! Really fun video seeing them casual and having fun like that. Saw them in LA and SF, and they were on my plane from LA to SF. Got to talk to them for a while at baggage claim. They were casual like this while also stylish as hell, and so gracious and nice. Was in the front row and Asami winked and said hi. I’m just amazed at how talented they are, while being so down to Earth and caring of the fans. They obviously love what they do, and hope to see them as many more times as I can!

Another one of Lovebites songs that step on the gas right at the start, and just does not let up. Lovebites is one of those few bands I like just as much off stage as on. When I see fan videos of Miyako and Midori hanging around at guitar shops, or conventions, just causally shredding unannounced for fun? Just something super endearing about that kind of thing. And this video gives off that kinda feeling.

Yes, I agree with you: When Miho left the band in 2021, I was very, very sad. Would things go the same way with Lovbites as with many other bands, a brief flare-up and then the end? Fortunately, no! When Fami got excited about the band and the first recordings were made, I watched with excitement and was ultimately very relieved that the show with Lovebites continued and, as I believe today, the band reached new heights!

This is a stand out track to me from the previous album, when the videos started to release for the new album this was one of the first ones that came out and really shows how much they grew with Fami on the bass. There is some videos about when Lovebites were auditioning bassists and then selecting Fami. Great to watch. A couple of fun things. In the opening sequence Haruna has a mic to sing in to which doesn't happen anywhere else I've seen. You guessed it, Miyako can play the drums. And Fami does play guitar.

It was actually a duo - Justin Adams & Mauro Durante - kind of hard folk rock fusion, very rhythm-based, lots of influences (pizzica taranta, African, Arabic, blues, punk, trance). Just electric guitar, tamburello, violin, and shared vocals, but they had a really full sound. Mauro is a bandleader in Southern Italy, Justin mostly does collaborations (Robert Plant, Sinéad O'Connor, Brian Eno to name a few I was familiar with). My wife said it was fun for her to introduce me to someone new for a change, rather than the other way round! We left a help yourself treats bowl outside the house since we weren't going to be around most of the evening.

Pretty un-real knowing Miyako was only hired as a supporting guitarist/keyboardist. One of the best decisions they made was her becoming a full on member in 2017. This has been my favorite song by them since it came out. It's just old school cool.
I believe Miyako was listed as a supporting member instead of a full time one was due to contractual obligations with her previous band. Miyako was already an integral member and had contributed one song “ Scream For Me “ to the LB debute EP.
This song is so fun, a little different from most of lovebites work, but I love it. In the live version, you can tell how much they adore and appreciate Fami. Asami looks to her like a proud parent and they often express their gratitude for her in many ways. ❤ This is a play in the book "Art of War" by Sun Tzu; “Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys. Look on them as your own beloved sons, and they will stand by you even unto death.” They celebrate each others success and keep the Lovebites members close like a family, you can't spell "Family" without "Fami" & You can't spell "Lovebites" without "Love". I love this video solely for the fun studio interactions and their everyday clothes instead of the white outfits. This is a great song and a different side of Lovebites. I had previously mentioned a Drop of Joker to you, but i forgot to add that Miyako also had another band before Lovebites called 21Grams (on UA-cam, their channel is 21g). Definitely worth checking out as well with a very different sound from ADOJ. Try their song 1st Finger. If you're curious about Midori, she was in a band called Gekijo Metalicche before Lovebites. Miyako, much like Kanami from BAND-MAID, can indeed play the drums, though I'm not sure to what extent. She's a pretty good bass player, too, though most guitarists I've known can play the bass to various degrees. Haruka from Asterism is an incredible bass player but rarely shows it. Fami can play some guitar. Haruna obviously can't play the bass, same with Asami on guitar, but I have no clue if Midori can sing. Regarding the bar lift at the start of the song, I learned to do that thanks to "Black Sunshine" by White Zombie. I had to use my friend's Jackson Rhoads V to do it since my first guitar didn't have a bar, but I started incorporating harmonics and loved the sound. Then about a month later I discovered Pantera.
Did you guys know that Fami was seriously considering giving up music before she auditioned for Lovebites? I'm flying to Yokosuka Next month for an old Navy buddy's Navy retirement. Thats right outside Tokyo. I defiantly plan on trying to find some Lovebites and Band-Maid merch. Wish they were around when I was stationed in Japan for those 8 years.
Eight of Miyako's Dean's came up for sale around a month ago for $4,200 each. Since I already got her Signature Dean V for a similar price, the coin wasn't there and they were gone. This music video is a blast. And this is one of several Lovebites songs where I feel the studio version is a little better than live, doing the song more justice. The Miho/Fami discussion generally gets a little ugly. Both are excellent, both are different. Fami is technical, Miho said so herself that she isn't technical. Miho is old school metal, and fast. When you listen to the solo run in Judgement Day, that's where the differences between the two really show to me. Fami's technical bass lines, IMO, line up better with M&M, yet she is locked with Haruna. But ALL of there music is amazing through Lovebites 1.0 and Lovebites 2.0.
Miyako know how to play drums ( bass & cello as well) . During the MV she really played her part. Asami struggling with Miyako microphone because she's 13cm/5.1 inches shorter than MIYAKO 1m60/5.2 f. Asami is 1m47 cm 4.10 not the shortest, that's Haruna 1m45/4.9 f ( tiny very powerful drummer), Fami is around 1m60/5.2 or 1m65 /5.4 f (depends on interview she done , she a little bit misterious) . Midori is 1m50/ 4.11 f.

I'm just wondering what if some day you ordered something and when the bell rings you open the door and ..... surprise instead of the driver in front of you see Lovebites girls said... someone ordered something we just delivered.😂😂😂. That's gonna be fun to see especially your faces. Yeah when I saw them in the Garage London on the 1st of July, when they started to play the song everyone got crazy especially when Fami started with the bass. So I really suggest checking the song live as well from the same concert Memorial for the wariar souls. By the way I've got a question, is it possible ( like some of the other reactors) to make a double reaction once for the video ( of course if the song got video) and second the live version in the same reaction time. Miho was/is an excellent metal bassist. But with Fami, LOVEBITES are now a better band. Fami can match Miho's finger plucking, but she also has slap/pop technical skills that Miho doesn't have.
We all have our preferences and consume music differently and that's fine. Personally, I disagree that Lovebites is a better band now. Miho provided that undercurrent of old school attitude, the head bangin, beer drinkin, metal t-shirt collecting, galloping riff writing, NWOBHM vibe that permeated all the "chapter 1" material. It's Lovebites so it's all great but if I had to choose, for me, the Miho led lineup was the strongest.

"they all look different" - so true, it reminds me when they arrived at the concert venue in Belgium in june (I was part of the staff), I didn't instantly recognised them(I was busy unloading their gear), it took me a few seconds to realise it was Asami greeting us 😄. Btw they were totally adorable , exactly as you see them in those behind-the-scene moments here.

I was at the New Cross Inn gig in London this year, and was in the queue for the merch stall which was down stairs from the auditorium. The queue stretched back up the stairs, when I heard the voice behind say 'Excuse us' and turned around to see Asami and Fami coming down the stairs in their street clothes smiling and saying hi to everyone. It was a totally unreal moment to be within touching distance two of my favourite musicians, who are also total sweethearts. They seem so modest and appreciative of their fans. A memory I cherish. 🥰

Thanks for making Wednesdays better! Really fun video seeing them casual and having fun like that. Saw them in LA and SF, and they were on my plane from LA to SF. Got to talk to them for a while at baggage claim. They were casual like this while also stylish as hell, and so gracious and nice. Was in the front row and Asami winked and said hi. I’m just amazed at how talented they are, while being so down to Earth and caring of the fans. They obviously love what they do, and hope to see them as many more times as I can!

Another one of Lovebites songs that step on the gas right at the start, and just does not let up. Lovebites is one of those few bands I like just as much off stage as on. When I see fan videos of Miyako and Midori hanging around at guitar shops, or conventions, just causally shredding unannounced for fun? Just something super endearing about that kind of thing. Yes, I agree with you: When Miho left the band in 2021, I was very, very sad. Would things go the same way with Lovbites as with many other bands, a brief flare-up and then the end? Fortunately, no! When Fami got excited about the band and the first recordings were made, I watched with excitement and was ultimately very relieved that the show with Lovebites continued and, as I believe today, the band reached new heights!

A couple of fun things. In the opening sequence Haruna has a mic to sing in to which doesn't happen anywhere else I've seen. You guessed it, Miyako can play the drums. And Fami does play guitar.

Stand and Deliver” is a song that I wrote with the idea that once the restrictions of COVID were relaxed, the audience would join in the fun.
This music video was made in a hurry, during rehearsals for the revival concert, to get fans to remember the lyrics, since there was a possibility that the restrictions would be eased for the actual concert, so it is much rougher than their other music videos.

It was actually a duo - Justin Adams & Mauro Durante - kind of hard folk rock fusion, very rhythm-based, lots of influences (pizzica taranta, African, Arabic, blues, punk, trance). Just electric guitar, tamburello, violin, and shared vocals, but they had a really full sound. Mauro is a bandleader in Southern Italy, Justin mostly does collaborations (Robert Plant, Sinéad O'Connor, Brian Eno to name a few I was familiar with). My wife said it was fun for her to introduce me to someone new for a change, rather than the other way round! We left a help yourself treats bowl outside the house since we weren't going to be around most of the evening.

Epilogue is Lovebites slowest song to date Midori & Miyako start the song on acoustic guitars, Miyako then switchs to piano then the electric guitar then back to piano then back to guitar Asami sings from the soul, the second half of the songs got Eagles Hotel California rhythm, and at the end Midori does a Jimmy Hendrix

Pretty un-real knowing Miyako was only hired as a supporting guitarist/keyboardist. One of the best decisions they made was her becoming a full on member in 2017. This has been my favorite song by them since it came out. It's just old school cool.
I believe Miyako was listed as a supporting member instead of a full time one was due to contractual obligations with her previous band. Miyako was already an integral member and had contributed one song “ Scream For Me “ to the LB debute EP.
This song is so fun, a little different from most of lovebites work, but I love it. In the live version, you can tell how much they adore and appreciate Fami.
Asami looks to her like a proud parent and they often express their gratitude for her in many ways. ❤

I love this video solely for the fun studio interactions and their everyday clothes instead of the white outfits. This is a great song and a different side of Lovebites. I had previously mentioned a Drop of Joker to you, but i forgot to add that Miyako also had another band before Lovebites called 21Grams (on UA-cam, their channel is 21g). Definitely worth checking out as well with a very different sound from ADOJ. Try their song 1st Finger. If you're curious about Midori, she was in a band called Gekijo Metalicche before Lovebites. I would suggest Mirai Antai -Music Video-(FULL ver.) from the band's old youtube channel. Looking forward to what you have for Halloween!

Miyako, much like Kanami from BAND-MAID, can indeed play the drums, though I'm not sure to what extent. She's a pretty good bass player, too, though most guitarists I've known can play the bass to various degrees. Haruka from Asterism is an incredible bass player but rarely shows it. Fami can play some guitar. Haruna obviously can't play the bass, same with Asami on guitar, but I have no clue if Midori can sing.
Regarding the bar lift at the start of the song, I learned to do that thanks to "Black Sunshine" by White Zombie. I had to use my friend's Jackson Rhoads V to do it since my first guitar didn't have a bar, but I started incorporating harmonics and loved the sound. Then about a month later I discovered Pantera.

Did you guys know that Fami was seriously considering giving up music before she auditioned for Lovebites? I'm flying to Yokosuka Next month for an old Navy buddy's Navy retirement. Thats right outside Tokyo. I defiantly plan on trying to find some Lovebites and Band-Maid merch. Wish they were around when I was stationed in Japan for those 8 years.

Eight of Miyako's Dean's came up for sale around a month ago for $4,200 each. Since I already got her Signature Dean V for a similar price, the coin wasn't there and they were gone.
This music video is a blast. And this is one of several Lovebites songs where I feel the studio version is a little better than live, doing the song more justice.
The Miho/Fami discussion generally gets a little ugly. Both are excellent, both are different. Fami is technical, Miho said so herself that she isn't technical. Miho is old school metal, and fast. When you listen to the solo run in Judgement Day, that's where the differences between the two really show to me. Fami's technical bass lines, IMO, line up better with M&M, yet she is locked with Haruna. But ALL of there music is amazing through Lovebites 1.0 and Lovebites 2.0.

Miyako know how to play drums ( bass & cello as well) . During the MV she really played her part. Asami struggling with Miyako microphone because she's 13cm/5.1 inches shorter than MIYAKO 1m60/5.2 f. Asami is 1m47 cm 4.10 not the shortest, that's Haruna 1m45/4.9 f ( tiny very powerful drummer), Fami is around 1m60/5.2 or 1m65 /5.4 f (depends on interview she done , she a little bit misterious) . Midori is 1m50/ 4.11 f.

I'm just wondering what if some day you ordered something and when the bell rings you open the door and ..... surprise instead of the driver in front of you see Lovebites girls said... someone ordered something we just delivered.😂😂😂. That's gonna be fun to see especially your faces. Yeah when I saw them in the Garage London on the 1st of July, when they started to play the song everyone got crazy especially when Fami started with the bass. So I really suggest checking the song live as well from the same concert Memorial for the wariar souls. By the way I've got a question, is it possible ( like some of the other reactors) to make a double reaction once for the video ( of course if the song got video) and second the live version in the same reaction time. So my next suggestion is to put in the list the song called Today is the day live from 2021 Tokyo the last Miho concert with the band after that she left the Lovebites. Miho was/is an excellent metal bassist. But with Fami, LOVEBITES are now a better band. Fami can match Miho's finger plucking, but she also has slap/pop technical skills that Miho doesn't have.

We all have our preferences and consume music differently and that's fine. Personally, I disagree that Lovebites is a better band now. Miho provided that undercurrent of old school attitude, the head bangin, beer drinkin, metal t-shirt collecting, galloping riff writing, NWOBHM vibe that permeated all the "chapter 1" material. It's Lovebites so it's all great but if I had to choose, for me, the Miho led lineup was the strongest.
as bassists, i like Fami and Miho equally. but if it was a matter of who could bring more benefit to Lovebites, i'd go with Miho.
