He REALLY got all spiffed-up for this performance, from cutting and neatly styling his hair to actually wearing a jacket & tie!! WOW!! I bet that never happened again!! 😆 I love it!! Awesome clip!!
@@SmallSoldier Well it's probably the rights holders for Dick Clark Productions and ABC TV. The catalog is certainly vast but they don't seem to want to release to the public. We have a copy of our performance but the contract says we can use 60 seconds of it and that's what we did.
Fender Precision Bass with DiMarzio pickups. At the time, DiMarzio's P-Bass pickups were white, probably to distinguish them from the stock Fender ones.
I asked that on their Fbook page and they said that Dick Clark Prod owns it and won't let it go. Maybe one day. I sure hope so anyway. I hate the idea that something so cool is sitting in a locker in cinderblock building in the US somewhere. Everything about that is wrong.
We have the whole thing fordprefectiii, but part of the deal was to only use about a minute in our video and we've stuck to that agreement. It's great though.
