Make it make SENSE!! 🤣🤣
it is BETTER than the usual trash but it's not GOOD GOOD, i mean a good spiderman body would be similar to the custom bodies or the mafex, not skinny, not big shoulders, neck, calves, ankles, hands, head and waist muscles ARE TOO BIG and the pecks are weird. i think the marvel legends gaslighting got you too, you're so used to the marvel legends TRASH that when it comes a just decent figure it gets elevated as the second coming of christ. 9\10 it's too much
Mafex spidey is not that great. Skinny ugly legs, very fragile cheap plastic and joints and about 5x the cost of a normal action figure. But to each their own.
@NECROMAGICIAN666 Mafex Spidey is too damn skinny lol. You would know if you actually picked seen any of the Spidey comics drawn by Mark Bagley (which is the version Mafex is based on). As for Superior he should have big shoulders and a small waist that’s how he’s always drawn. Spiderman is never skinny in the comics and especially not the Superior version. You must have knew of this character from YT Shorts or something, Heck even Peter in his prime during the Mcfarlane era was ripped out of his minds, wide back, wide shoulders, Large Legs, and crazy veins, Spider-MAN should be a good size he’s not a scrawny teenager the guy is in his mid 20s, an ADULT. don’t even get me started on his early Romita Sr days, the guy was built like a football jock.
LOL the first time superior spiderman appeared he was extremely skinny, and when this suit appeares he is drawn as skinny, but first let me specify that assbro isn't mcfarlane and so far they never took the art style in consideration, so logically this whole point makes no sense, i am saying that the mafex is better when it comes to shapes, and to be frank he is not that skinny as you claim it to be, plus the mafex one should be based on the mcfarlane since his drawing is featured on the pack and this one should be based on the mark bagley cover art from the run made by, slott, del gado, bell and bagley it doesn't feature the problems i pointed out, and fully adult doesn't mean jocky, as far as i can tell spiderman isn't drawn to be big since the 80's he was just ripped in the 90's because of the crazyness of the art style and i'll give you a point for the critique on the mafex, he should have been more crazy indeed if you feature the mcfarlane one on the box.
@@22B112 aside from that i still personally think that the mafex looks overall better than this one, this one features the classic marvel legends proportions problems big hands, big head, big feet, big claves, fat ankles, no wrists, weird torso muscles, no butt and skinny chest besides being 0% fat type shredded the mafex is pretty much great, not perfect but great the flaws on that figure are the belt design, the limited crunch joint, the big head, the peter parker head being weird, and his fragility. but imagine this, that mold but more modernized and with a 20 dollar price point and with those problems fiexed, it would be the best selling legends of all times EASILY (of course without import joints) but with double ball pegs it would be ground breaking(for legends collectors remained in the stone age) and it would actually be a competitive product, because as far as i can tell in the lousiest sonic 3 jakks can kick a marvel legends ass in terms of articulations, painting, sculpt value and accuracy.
@@suhtangwong i was talking about the sculpt, it is the best 1:12 comic spiderman figure on the market and nobody would tell you otherwise, I can agree with you on the fact that is not perfect and it needs more work but are we really comparing the two products? i'm just comparing the shape and sculpt because it doesn't cost more to sculpt it better and the legends is again, NOT THAT GOOD it presents way more problems than the mafex.
If hasbro wanna campaign on saving the planet..cutting clear plastic for display on packaging for a plastic toy seems like a dumb idea..or a weird marketing ploy. 😅 If they are really serious about saving the planet, do recyclable campaign, accepting old/broken toys (their brand and/or others). The only thing that's holding me back though is the subpar articulation, most of the kits they've made so far can't do the iconic flight pose.
Hey i left you a message the other day asking about the Wolverine head scupt with the cigar..hopefully you'll make some more soon
Btw as far as Hasbro virtue signalling "CLIMATE CHANGE" B.S...i remember back in the day when they would recommend using more PLASTIC instead of paper products in order to SAVE the TREES.. but now plastic is BAD & we should kill more TREES?!
Make it make SENSE!!
🤣🤣
Nice figure, I just don’t like the wast cut on Marvel Legends figures, personally I think they should do away with wast cuts starting in 2025.
I thought the larger hands were accurate to the comics
Bluebetlee Jaime reyes suit??
Marvel Legends has been great lately
Can't wait to get this guy
well... if its about action figures saving planet is secondary i guess :D
BBTS starting to piss me off
How come? For me it’s maybe coz these aren’t coming out of his own pocket, so he has been going a little easier on the ML
@@aldoperez23 they taking their sweet ass time in shipping this figure
These aren't provided by BBTS
@@AnthonysCustoms never made that claim, just getting annoyed that they’re taking forever to ship
it is BETTER than the usual trash but it's not GOOD GOOD, i mean a good spiderman body would be similar to the custom bodies or the mafex, not skinny, not big
shoulders, neck, calves, ankles, hands, head and waist muscles ARE TOO BIG and the pecks are weird. i think the marvel legends gaslighting got you too, you're so used to the marvel legends TRASH that when it comes a just decent figure it gets elevated as the second coming of christ.
LOL the first time superior spiderman appeared he was extremely skinny, and when this suit appeares he is drawn as skinny, but first let me specify that assbro isn't mcfarlane and so far they never took the art style in consideration, so logically this whole point makes no sense, i am saying that the mafex is better when it comes to shapes, and to be frank he is not that skinny as you claim it to be, plus the mafex one should be based on the mcfarlane since his drawing is featured on the pack and this one should be based on the mark bagley cover art from the run made by, slott, del gado, bell and bagley
it doesn't feature the problems i pointed out, and fully adult doesn't mean jocky, as far as i can tell spiderman isn't drawn to be big since the 80's he was just ripped in the 90's because of the crazyness of the art style and i'll give you a point for the critique on the mafex, he should have been more crazy indeed if you feature the mcfarlane one on the box.
@@22B112 aside from that i still personally think that the mafex looks overall better than this one, this one features the classic marvel legends proportions problems
big hands, big head, big feet, big claves, fat ankles, no wrists, weird torso muscles, no butt and skinny chest besides being 0% fat type shredded
the mafex is pretty much great, not perfect but great the flaws on that figure are the belt design, the limited crunch joint, the big head, the peter parker head being weird, and his fragility.
but imagine this, that mold but more modernized and with a 20 dollar price point and with those problems fiexed, it would be the best selling legends of all times EASILY (of course without import joints) but with double ball pegs it would be ground breaking(for legends collectors remained in the stone age) and it would actually be a competitive product, because as far as i can tell in the lousiest sonic 3 jakks can kick a marvel legends ass in terms of articulations, painting, sculpt value and accuracy.
Don’t see anything significantly better about this figure to warrant a 9.5 compared to your lower scores for other spidey marvel legends.
The sculpt is a big factor
The previous Superior Spider-Man was just terrible. Brown lenses, no gauntlets, and no spider-legs.
If hasbro wanna campaign on saving the planet..cutting clear plastic for display on packaging for a plastic toy seems like a dumb idea..or a weird marketing ploy. 😅
If they are really serious about saving the planet, do recyclable campaign, accepting old/broken toys (their brand and/or others). It will be non-profitable but at least better marketing. 😂
I’m glad Hasbro finally saved the planet. Now can we get rid of paper straws on the west coast?
They were losing money.
So this is basically worth the $30....
Head is way too big
There is hope
Back2back 9.5 on Marvel Legends? ....there is hope 🙏
Eurlaeh
Man I hate the ab crunch and waist. Awful and outdated design, has never looked good.
🫡
the webbing is so ridiculously bad like seriously Spock is supposed to have a regular web pattern not this awful scribbles
That's how the costume is supposed to look
@chaisrocha9853 The messy webs is literally a crucial part of the design like the Edge of Time suit, you must not know this character at all
I read every single issue in the Spock run including tie-ins and trash events 97% of the time he is drawn with a regular web pattern depending on the artist one or two webs collide but not near as messy as this pice of crap, you probably saw a couple of covers and assume that's how the design is supposed to look like
@chaisrocha9853 As we all know, Hasbro doesn't do their research when making figures. They just Google Image Search these characters. And this design is accurate to some art
@@chaisrocha9853 there are hundreds of panels that shows him in actions with messy webs it’s literally in the comics not part of the covers, he had messy webs it’s part of the design, both Bagley and Humbertos draw him with messy webs.
Please…please stop saying “my package”…
Not a perfect figure but a substantial improvement on the old Superior Spidey from...I think it was the TASM2 wave, if I remember right?
