The car from the James Bond clip "The Spy Who Loves Me" that you say is an Aston Martin is actually a Lotus Esprit S1. That movie which was released in 1977 was the debut of the first Lotus Esprit.
Nor was the Robin the most stable design. Obviously, the tricycle is the inspiration. Two wheels in the front and one in the rear is a more stable configuration.
What would you think if you heard the word "rainbow" pronounce d "RAIN- bough," pronounced like "I bow to you" rhymes with "Wow!" Crazy. Hear it several times and it drives you crazy. "Bear- TONE-nay."

This is really rare, but I think this is an example of a poor choice in names. There is no way that this vehicle looks like a bulldog. Despite Peugeot, I'd suggest calling it the Escapade, orchard from the are.
The French "E" is NOT "EE" as in "Feet." It is more like we pronounce a capital "A." Try ",Ee-leck-TREE,-;ceu" rhymes with "cook." The French garbling of their "R" is a lesson in and of itself. Again, Google it.
You do this with different letters and numbers. here it is most pronounced in pronouncing "BMW." Where you separate the "B" from the m&w, the "BM"" show the sound more like a diphthong, "BE-em".
"they were known for" is,b of course, grammatically incorrect. It should more properly be "for which they were known." The alternative is acceptable, footage depends upon whether you want a formal or casual tone.
