💥booom!💥 that cubasis project that you made with this just made my jaw drop. Great sound Jakob and really inspiring video review! Great job brother. I just downloaded tis last night but didn’t get too many amazing sounds out of it yet, but i will have to dig deeper and try harder i am sure hahah.
Loving your content mate. I had this for a week before springing for the full version. It’s scope is huge especially if you apply really slow lfo’s to multiple knobs especially fm and the effects.
I purchased this app when it was first launched but never really used it, it was a case of buying it because it was available. But after watching this video I will start experimenting with it. Thanks for the great tutorial 👍
Thanks Jakob, cool track. 🙏 Big fan of Jordan & company’s Geo Shred…it’s an instrument of genius. Jordan has a beautiful mind that has clearly stewed in the best kind of inspirational juices. 🤔🍷🎩🎩🎩
Loved this video, Jakob! Thank you! My problem is when working with PolyWave, and Bleass’ SampleWiz2 alongside Monolit…I can’t find how to get the SUSTAIN to be triggered by MIDI like all others do with my iPad and iPhone. How can I connect sustain to work with PolyWave?…
Jordan Rudess is so legendary that it physically hurts 🤣 super interesting app, awesome video 😎 I loved drawing regular waveforms with "imperfections" drawn in to give them character when I used the draw feature in Sunvox. Like a square, but with tiny ripples on the edges, or a random spike in the middle.
It’s a common issue with AU’s and it is something that Apple has to address. This makes me remember how it was on PC. New installs of anything required reboots. Do t know how it was on Mac though.
I like the idea but not the sound. The sound is unusable for me. I wish this was an effect app though I could use it on other synths. Thank you for the tutorial Jacob much appreciated.
@@JakobHaq Whats up Jacob I. like more organic usable sounds like Sampletron, piano book or Swarplug. I even like chip tune synths. This is a good concept for an app but I can't get with the sound. This would be a dope effect plugin though. Thank you for all you do and have done. You are appreciated.in my Tupac voice LOL!
@@777wisdom7 I think they’re both great. Wavetable synths are known for their icy/metallic tones, so maybe that super synthetic sound just isn’t your lane. I personally love it.
I thought of addstation when working with this thing. They have the wavetable sequencing in common, but otherwise they’re wery different from one another.

Jordan Rudess is such an iconic character as J. K. Rowling but in the Synth-world : D
Great content!
I don’t understand this comment at all. JK Rowling sucks.

That was a sweet tutorial, Jakob! Always love your content. I'm as sucker for evolving pads, and this just seems cool.
Amazing as usual
This sounds beautiful! Purchased!

Cool video! Awesome that you had Jordan on! Sounds like a groovy application

Holy moly go get this app! So much fun as someone new to sound design! Great Video as allways!
Thanks Jakob, this video really helped me to see the intricacies of PloyWave.

I think the vertical keyboard touch waveform shifting is a great idea as long as you can turn it on and off
You’re right, isn’t a pad without a long attack and release ☝🏼

This looks super nice. Insta-buy for sure.
Hello Jacob like always you make me buy all the App Store apps ! Thank You so much for making things so easy for us. 👑🥊💪🏼💪🏼
My pleasure man! 👊
Love the introduction, thank you!
Thank you!
Cool man yea I needed that 😂 I’ve owned a wave station before…. Kinda like the original wavetable synth… but…. It always sounded too pretty.
I’ve already bought it and have been trying it out. It’s a bit different but so far so good.
A great review! You convinced me to buy polywave!
Have fun! 👊

That’s exactly what I like doing to. Just adding slight imperfections or a lot of them to introduce “saturation”. 👊😍
Instant buy. Wow.
Sorry, rebooting my iPad made the audio unit appear. So ignore my no AU complaint. In case you buy it, you might have to reboot.

Hopefully they will add a mono/legato mode soon..
Even with FM 🤔
Yay!

Why do I have hardware?
Hardware feels and inspires different than hardware.
I like the idea but not the sound.
The sound is unusable for me. I wish this was an effect app though I could use it on other synths.
Thank you for the tutorial Jacob much appreciated.
My pleasure! I’m curious to what type of “overall” sound you do like? Any synth tips, like stuff you often use?

What’s wrong with the sound? It seems more like you’re not really into synths, but “acoustic” instruments maybe.
@@HotStrange
This is what a good synth sounds like and its not acoustic just good
listen and compare both

@@АртемКлыков-ь6б what’s wrong with that? That’s multiple firmwares ago.
Audiokit seems poorly optimized, every synth I’ve tested uses a lot of resources or has sync issues in AUM. Shame this was made using that.
It’s a piece of crap.
