9/3 I just wanted to tell you that while I was in Walmart, in the grocery section, they had a small fall seasonal baking center. I noticed a new brand called something like Better Good. This company made muffin mixes that were gluten-free and I noted the Kosher symbol. They had maple, apple, and pumpkin, each box under $5.
Always family first. When my kids asked me why I don't have a real job(this is way before social media!) I said that taking care of my family IS my real job

You do so much, I cannot imagine how you fit it all in. When I was younger, with school-age kids, I often over-extended. Good for you to realize what you need.

I also had 4 children. I don’t know how you have managed to make such good content to this point. Please take all the time you need for yourself and your family. I enjoy watching your posts but your health and well being is so much more important. Life has many seasons and this is one of those where you are really needed by your children especially a very “toddlery” toddler- as they get older they will always need you but not to the extent they do now. You need to use any spare time( I know that is often a comical thought) nurturing your own interests . Life is beautiful Chana- thank you for the glimpses you have given us into your life x

And although I loved my job I would do the same again. I understand that you are not quitting and just taking a break. That's great. Listen to your inner voice. Shalom! Yes, take a breather! I just had my 6th child and I'm trying to fit everything in like clock work. The baby started solids. I'm starting my homeschool curriculum now and I have a goal for making me and my children clothing. Especially my skirts because they're so expensive online. Like last night ,I only had a few minutes to read my Anne of Green Gables book. I literally read three pages a night. I think I have to make some changes to get my break too.

What stood our for me was on your last Q&A video about how you handle you being busy and your husband being busy with his activities and yet you are able to meet up and have some family time, esp on Shabbat. I have really been struggling with that the past few years, with loss of my mom then elder care of FIL, then his passing and a HUGE home remodel of the other house to get it ready to rent out. I really felt like we were turning into two ships passing each other in the night, and not really due to neglect but I was feeling that that is not what couplehood is about. I love your example and it is helping me to be alot more accepting of where we are and our various responsibilities, and to find my own joy in maintaining my home, my personal activities, and my personal life. Bless you Chana and thanks again for all you do and your inspiration :)
We will miss you; but as a mother and grandmother who babysits, I'd say just do a few short videos whenever you get the opportunity. Have fun with the kids, make a few videos without a lot of editing, maybe. Baby Firefly will grow and learn, and eventually you will have more time to yourself. Just do what you can...
I disagree with many posters here. After raising a family, I think I made a mistake always putting my family first. I should have put my own self-care first (a break each day, time to make healthy food for myself, some meditation time, time with friends, etc.), so I had more energy, patience and kindness left for my family. Like the face mask on the airplane, put your own mask on first, so you can be alive and well to help your children and husband put on their own. Do whatever you want with your channel -- that is irrelevant to my point, but if scaling down gives you more time, spend a little on self-care first.
I did discuss how scaling back / stepping back does give me more time for myself for things I have been wanting to do. It is about self care which like you says, makes me a better mom too :)

I can't believe I missed this on Monday. Oy, I've been behind all week. I saw the title and I got so sad but then after watching I completely understand and agree. Your family does come first. I remember when my grandson and younger granddaughter were toddlers and it was a crazy time. My older granddaughter went straight from a baby to a little kid shortly after her first birthday so the next two kids were a surprise 😉. You have been amazing in so many ways. I love your "but that's okay" it has helped me so many times! I will miss you but this is the best for you and your family. Kids grow up so fast! You'll be back when it works for your family again. I totally understand! My brother-in-law always said their last child was a quantam leap, one that they never expected. My sister is a wonderful, energetic, loving mom and never complained but you could just tell that last little one just needed more attention than expected. I just had my 6th child and I'm trying to fit everything in like clock work. The baby started solids. I'm starting my homeschool curriculum now and I have a goal for making me and my children clothing. Especially my skirts because they're so expensive online.
Like last night ,I only had a few minutes to read my Anne of Green Gables book. I literally read three pages a night. I think I have to make some changes to get my break too.

Hi, Thank you so much for your content, and for keeping it real. What stood our for me was on your last Q&A video about how you handle you being busy and your husband being busy with his activities and yet you are able to meet up and have some family time, esp on Shabbat. I have really been struggling with that the past few years, with loss of my mom then elder care of FIL, then his passing and a HUGE home remodel of the other house to get it ready to rent out. I really felt like we were turning into two ships passing each other in the night, and not really due to neglect but I was feeling that that is not what couplehood is about. I love your example and it is helping me to be alot more accepting of where we are and our various responsibilities, and to find my own joy in maintaining my home, my personal activities, and my personal life. Bless you Chana and thanks again for all you do and your inspiration :)

We will miss you; but as a mother and grandmother who babysits, I'd say just do a few short videos whenever you get the opportunity. Have fun with the kids, make a few videos without a lot of editing, maybe. Baby Firefly will grow and learn, and eventually you will have more time to yourself. Just do what you can...

I disagree with many posters here. After raising a family, I think I made a mistake always putting my family first. I should have put my own self-care first (a break each day, time to make healthy food for myself, some meditation time, time with friends, etc.), so I had more energy, patience and kindness left for my family. Like the face mask on the airplane, put your own mask on first, so you can be alive and well to help your children and husband put on their own. Do whatever you want with your channel -- that is irrelevant to my point, but if scaling down gives you more time, spend a little on self-care first.
I did discuss how scaling back / stepping back does give me more time for myself for things I have been wanting to do. It is about self care which like you says, makes me a better mom too :)

I can't believe I missed this on Monday. Oy, I've been behind all week. I saw the title and I got so sad but then after watching I completely understand and agree. Your family does come first. I remember when my grandson and younger granddaughter were toddlers and it was a crazy time. My older granddaughter went straight from a baby to a little kid shortly after her first birthday so the next two kids were a surprise 😉.
You have been amazing in so many ways. I love your "but that's okay" it has helped me so many times! I will miss you but this is the best for you and your family. Kids grow up so fast! You'll be back when it works for your family again.

I totally understand! My brother-in-law always said their last child was a quantam leap, one that they never expected. My sister is a wonderful, energetic, loving mom and never complained but you could just tell that last little one just needed more attention than expected.
