2 Strokes do not have engine oil, that's why you have to mix oil into the fuel, 4 strokes do have engine oil that's why they do not need oil in the fuel, but to answer your question no 2 stroke oil and regular engine oil are 2 different types of oil

Stopped using Castrol when R30 stopped wish you still made it I’d come back to a brand that I solely used in all my racing machines

Yes I used the same oil for my Peugeot speedfight 2 100cc 2T . Now I use castrol power 1 racing 2T . Some say ,It is the successor .
It is, and it's basicaly only a rebranding. Same oil spec as before.

Castrol make Stihl 2 stroke oil, I wonder if any of the motorcycle oils would work in a chainsaw ?
Plenty use it with no issue
Definitely. Especially the high temp bike oils (MX oils etc.) are perfect, almost overkill good, for a chainsaw.
Can you use this oil for 2 stroke marine outboards ?
I use my motocross oil in my tohatsu 15hp, silkolene no problems at at all.
The preferred oil of Aprilia SR 50 riders everywhere.
Run this motorcycle oil cheaper then mobile 1 at least 1.5-0 cheaper works fine 10 w 40 t4 kind
