I think most of the things he has said are unnecessary. Though I agree with him about taking a monitor since it increases your productivity a lot. Also try to take a mechanical keyboard and not a membrane keyboard since in long hours of coding makes your hands pain when using a membrane keyboard. Even taking a descent gaming chair that has good ergonomics is fine since your back should not pain( addcom or cosmic byte will provide you some cheap options), It is especially important for computer science students since they have to sit for long hours in front of their PC or laptop. Also I would recommend to take a windows laptop instead of a macbook since most of the engineering colleges uses software that are compatible with windows os and not macos. Adding to this gaming is best possible in windows since most of the games are present in windows and not on mac os. For monitor tough you may use your tablet as a secondary monitor if you own one or even any old flat display tv will also do the job. Spend most your time in upgrading your skills. Also try to take a hardisk (1TB) or 500GB in which you can store all your important software or college projects and also keep a cloud backup of that in platforms like github or bitbucket or gitlab (I feel github is the best since it is easy to use and owned by microsoft). For information I am student of BMSCE bangalore and I am pursuing Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
If you're in college for studying, not having 75% of stuff from these list won't even make a difference. Macbook yeah sure bro, I don't even have 10 RS to buy a chocolate 😂😂 jokes aside, as a uni/college student (engineering mainly) I would recommend having these things: - laptop (very neccessary and important, especially if you're a engineering student) - wireless mouse (if needed) - phone (ofcourse you will need it for notes and for getting information) - pens, pencils - notebooks - wallet (cash or upi does the work) - bag (normal backpack or sling bag or whatever works for you) now what to keep in your bag: - pass (it maybe metro or bus or any kind of pass, I have bus pass since I travel by bus) - ID card (alot of places ask for your college id card as a proof) - earphones (this is optional) - lipbalm

Also try to take a mechanical keyboard and not a membrane keyboard since in long hours of coding makes your hands pain when using a membrane keyboard. Even taking a descent gaming chair that has good ergonomics is fine since your back should not pain( addcom or cosmic byte will provide you some cheap options), It is especially important for computer science students since they have to sit for long hours in front of their PC or laptop. Also I would recommend to take a windows laptop instead of a macbook since most of the engineering colleges uses software that are compatible with windows os and not macos. Adding to this gaming is best possible in windows since most of the games are present in windows and not on mac os. For monitor tough you may use your tablet as a secondary monitor if you own one or even any old flat display tv will also do the job. Spend most your time in upgrading your skills. Also try to take a hardisk (1TB) or 500GB in which you can store all your important software or college projects and also keep a cloud backup of that in platforms like github or bitbucket or gitlab (I feel github is the best since it is easy to use and owned by microsoft). For information I am student of BMSCE bangalore and I am pursuing Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
If you're in college for studying, not having 75% of stuff from these list won't even make a difference.
If you're in college for anything other than studying, even these many stuffs won't satisfy you.
Don't listen to these kind of UA-camrs who'll suggest you anything for their profit. If you're not earning, prefer Buying stuff when you feel you really need it.

jokes aside, as a uni/college student (engineering mainly) I would recommend having these things:
- laptop (very neccessary and important, especially if you're a engineering student)
- wireless mouse (if needed)
- phone (ofcourse you will need it for notes and for getting information)
- pens, pencils
- notebooks
- wallet (cash or upi does the work)
- bag (normal backpack or sling bag or whatever works for you)
now what to keep in your bag:
- pass (it maybe metro or bus or any kind of pass, I have bus pass since I travel by bus)
- ID card (alot of places ask for your college id card as a proof)
- earphones (this is optional)
- lipbalm

1. Laptop- if you’re an engineering student( idk about other courses), someday or the other you are gonna need software help, projects, presentations etc so laptop or a desktop is required.
2. Powerbank - you’re in college from 9-6 with labs, club activities, going out with friends etc, battery dead hoti hai so this is imp unless you have a good battery back up
3. Mouse - yes, you can’t possibly work on heavy softwares with touch wala mouse.
4. Headphones- library mai or even in class or hostel you can’t disturb others while watching videos
These are essential things for college to avoid some mistakes ,but if you can't buy these just because of money it's ok. Don't write harsh comments I am doing my software engineering degree and now after watching this video I realize that I must buy some of these things.

Feel like most of these are very unnecessary. Like just buy a laptop, some accessory for it like a decent mouse , idk why need an extra keyboard , personal preference tbh, but my opinion very unnecessary. Earphone is good enough , headphones are good but unnecessary for college life. On top of it the best investment u can do in college life is spending some time to make friends , if you dont have anything and someone has it, you can ask them when u need it instead of having to spend so much money on something having a one time use.
