I still have a blue corningware casserole in my kitchen cabinet that belonged to my mother! I also have that set of miniature casseroles. I use them as makeup pots for one of my porcelain dolls. ❤

OH WOW!!! I wish i had some! I LOVE TO COOK in real life!!! I just had to have this little set! My Mom and Grandmothers had full sets! I wish i could find some! As a ceramicist, I can tell you not to be afraid that porcelain is more delicate because its thinner and crisper detailed. In fact, it is fired at a much hiigher temperature than ordinary ceramics, even stoneware. It actually vitrifies, almost like glass, and it is really durable. The Space Shuttles were covered with porcelain tiles to withstand the intense heat of re-entry to earth's atmosphere. Love your choices of china. Best wishes from a fellow Michigan gal.
