Ultimate Spider-Man had a great soundtrack, but so did Web of Shadows, which had a very orchestrated score. I think it's less about the instruments and more about the theme itself.

Okay, I gotta admit. I definitely loved this remake. I'm surprised you never brought up another game that often had ambient freeroam music. Ultimate Spider-Man. They were trying something similar but in a crude sense cuz it was still 2005. I loved what you tried here and it flowed really well. But I do believe that maybe the strings shouldn't entirely take a back seat. A healthy harmony of orchestra and rock would do it wonders. I definitely love the ambient music while swinging, but I feel perhaps speeding up the tempo when you're going faster, or adding more layers depending on your speed would do it wonders. Like, maybe it starts off ambient and synthy when you're going slow. Then you hear the orchestra with the synth when you're speeding up. Then when you hit top speed, let the rock music explode. It'll make the feeling of control even better cuz the player is literally adjusting the tempo and layers by swinging.
That’s a cool idea with the swinging speed! And the layered approach, I really like too. I played Ultimate Spider-Man for the first time, I think, last year. I remember what you’re talking about. It was a cool experience for sure. (Come to think, I still need to beat the story lol)

Spider-man's theme from the animated series is rock themed bit it is also resonating with spider-man. The theme is consistant and it also plays through within the episode as well. Your music, while it is great, does not seem to hold a specific theme to the chaacter. It's cool and its sounds awesome. But it is also not as epic as the actual theme. Cause that tjeme plays into the cutscenes, the main menu, the swining scenes and more. It holds that specific theme through out the game and it works with every scene, from his introduction in the game at the start, to epic scenes throughout the game and even plays in a sad tone duringbaunt may's funeral. Rock woul do but it has to fit within all the cutscenes and has to be consistant through out the game.
That’s a good point. I didn’t incorporate those other elements of the game, but a sub genre or two of rock could probably help fill in the gaps where the classic rock doesn’t fit.
Call me crazy, but Bruce Campbell. Oh, wait, you meant the music. Meh, for games like this I tend to put other music on. Heavy metal, crazy prog shit, maybe something with a really funky bass line. A million times better than generic superhero track no. 725.
This music makes Mavel Spider-Man feel like an older game and not a modern game. I don't like it. The original music is still modern, but grand instead of futuristic. The tracks in this video aren't gonna work. The grand hopeful orchestra is still much much better. 😑

When you say remake, do you mean what I did in this video, or remaking what he did for those games?
@@D464J what you did in this video. Giving ur own take on the sound of venom’s/miles/kravens theme.
@@SM1-1048 that sounds like a fun idea 💡
I didn’t incorporate those other elements of the game, but a sub genre or two of rock could probably help fill in the gaps where the classic rock doesn’t fit.
bro i need a mod of this
Bro amazing spiderman game let uou play your own mysic while swining
I’m more of a MTV Spider-Man ost man myself.
That was an interesting show for sure. Never saw all of it.
GodDamn that was sexy.
Cant wait
Hreat video!
are you able to put your remake on to apple music by chance?
Hmmm… It may be possible. I’ll look into it.
@@D464J thank you 🙏 I love the theme😂
Its like Infamous second son music so they couldn't copy it
👂🏾🏆🙌🏾
Preciate ya brotha 💪🏾
You should absolutely make a mod that rescores the game. Just saying.
Call me crazy, but Bruce Campbell.
Oh, wait, you meant the music. Meh, for games like this I tend to put other music on. Heavy metal, crazy prog shit, maybe something with a really funky bass line. A million times better than generic superhero track no. 725.
Lol, Bruce is a legend. I'd like to hear him on something else.
would u be willing to allow someone to turn this into a mod?
we just need an official pornographic spider-man game at this point
You gonna make this a PC mod?
Sorry, but no.
This music makes Mavel Spider-Man feel like an older game and not a modern game. I don't like it. The original music is still modern, but grand instead of futuristic. The tracks in this video aren't gonna work. The grand hopeful orchestra is still much much better. 😑
I feel like this kind of music doesn't fit this version of Peter.
