The Judge is looking mighty fine! Holding off on building mine til I watch this video series. I'm going to do a similar color. 😎👍
Thanks Lance, she's almost there. I was actually looking to pick up another and do one in black on my next go around, let me know how it turns out.. Have a good one..
glad you hit it again. its now looking extra schmick!
I thought the same, was just looking off, definitely needed another round, time to hit some more sanding with decals..
😍Wow, looking really good Kreg!!!!👍
Thanks Tim, looking forward to see this one finished up..

LOOKING VERY NICE KREG!!!!!😎👍👍👍
Thanks Mike, she's turning out nice..
The wet sanding and an extra spray really made that color pop! Looks awesome!!
Thanks ,it did make a big difference, one more sanding and should be good to go...
What fun paint can be looking good i was waiting to see how you got the spot under the spoiler touched up.
Under the spoiler worked out good after the second round, with a little touch up should be looking good 👍
It's been a good series, Kreg and that's looking great. I've had to watch all the vids in little bites at a time......
Thanks Rob, hopping to take it to Saginaw before it goes to a new home, I'm trying to keep the videos as short as I can lol
Thank you for the instructions on wet sanding and repainting a model body. Awesome video Kreg!!!
Thanks Larry, I use to paint 1to1 cars and have had a lot of practice lol, once you get using this knowing how much you can take off its so worth the extra effort 👌
She's looking gorgeous kreg and I can't wait to win it 😍 ❤
Would love to send it your way Shawn, I'm thinking of doing a few more giveaway down the road..
@kregskorner8851 Hell Yeah I want one of your builds Kreg 🙌❤️
Kreg - thank you for taking the time to go through this extra step! I was curious how this paint would lay-down over the previous (and dry) coat. Well done!
Thanks Kevin, I'm looking forward to finish this up. time for the decals and clear. Hoping my dust will be at a minimal for the clear coat round.. Have a good one Kevin!
You Moo-hoovin on u-up to a deluxe workbench in the shop. The bench is almost more impressive than the car. Looks great. The car is dang sure orange, it looks slick as glass on camera. Another great video. I know you must be getting alot of feedback and interest on this video series. There are lots of guys, I’m sure, that really appreciate the detailed step by step, like telling us about Suzy bake, and how you use it, and the sandpaper Trizac. Good stuff, man.
Thanks Paul, always trying to improve my work space, always cleaning up, I have to say the paint is smooth, and for sure a lot of comments about this, I did a video over a year ago and still get comments about it, video was about 30 min long. So I took those questions and made sure I included them into these videos, I like making these types of videos hoping to help others in the hobby. My wife use to work at an auto parts store and I found the Trizac paper and never looked back.. Have a good one Paul!
@@kregskorner8851 I’m jealous, my wife used to work at Advance Auto, a parts house down here, she never brought me any great sandpaper, lol.
Your work is motivating me to get my 1st build in over 10 years done. I have a new airbrush/compressor/paint booth. Ready to paint and rock.
That's awesome Dustin, time to put that airbrush and compressor to work, the more you start using that airbrush the more enjoyable it becomes, you get it done I would like to see it.. Have fun with it..
On camera, this looks better with the added coat of paint.
I've learned over the years with 1:1 auto body paint, red is softer chemically than other colors (and consequently oranges that include reds). And the paint comes off more when waxing or using wax compounding (ie. light sanding), even if it's cured for months. My waxing cloth always had red in it when I waxed my metallic red '79 Tbird, while my red '59 Chevy got really duller over time, even though I was taking care of it, the red was just soft and gradually rubbed off.
Thanks Ray, that makes sense, I would wax my red Snap On box of 18 years every week and always a red towel in the end, before I traded it in a couple years ago you could almost see the metal in spots..
Nice work on the paint. Good tutorial. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Michael, almost getting that time for some clear coating..
Paints lookin good bud. I got one of them it’s to do the 2 lane black top pair of cars. I got some Trizact after I seen you using some. I picked up 3 & 5000. I love that stuff. A lot less scratch’s to buff out. Thanks!👍👍
That's awesome Robert, i would like to pick up another one and paint all black, glad. You like likethe Trizact its my favorite, i need to pick up some 3000, foor sure polishing is easy
You got the paint looking sweet Kreg!!
Thanks Tom, starting to come around nice, too bad I'm giving it away, would have been a good one to take to ACME in 2024
I have been back to the previous video and the start of this and compared paint jobs with the finished one here. I'm liking this one better for colour
I agree has more bright orange look, I was thinking it needed another coat, looks like we were right..
I like the bench set up. Need a hose like that, never thought about harbor freight.
Thanks, always trying to improve the work space.. I went in H F to get a back rack and saw the airbrush hose, who knew..
Thanks for showing me your bench.
Looks great always Thanks Kreg
Great build looking. Forward to that Ford mustang 351 Mach 1 second build.
thanks Stephen, still figuring out a color for the 351.. Any ideas? Let me know what you think..
The best informative car priming and painting I have ever seen! Outstanding teacher! One question, did you have to remove all the clear coat before the second painting? I'm confused about paint adhering to any clear coat left on the body. Thanks
Have a VL as well.love my Awata Tamiya the best.
Great video nice paint job 👍🏿
Thanks Leon, time to get it finished lol..
Great video. Learned a lot. Thank you.
Thanks, I enjoy doing these, hopefully to help others in the hobby, Have a good one Dale.. .
Kreg looking sweet can't wait to win it lol
Thanks Jamie, would be awesome to send it your way..
❤
Hello,
Great channel. Do you prefer siphon feed or gravity brushes?
Thanks
Hi Larry, Thanks, I like them both, I prefer a gravity, due to the clean up is quick and easy, Siphon is nice for holding a lot more paint! Have a great New Year Larry!
Dank what gloss is that super glossy.
