Love watching you work. I'm just now returning to car modeling, I normally do aircraft & AFV's. I'm comparing MCW finishes to Gravity lacquers and maybe Zero paints later.
lookin sweet bud 😁🤩lot of complaints w/ the earlier monogram GTOs but this kit is turning out to be a nice build😅scooter d😎ps i finally got some of my new work bench going together hopefully will be soon seems life dont stand still long enough for me to get everything done 🤣🤪
My curiosity has gotten the best of me, what is in the coke bottle that’s always above your head? Also, if that steering shaft makes it through the build without getting broken off, it’ll be a miracle Edit: I commented the above early in the video, I guess I‘ll call myself prophetic 😊
Well my friend, there is just Coca-Cola in the bottle lol, My Sister give me that, she works for Disney and that is a commemorative bottle from there 50th anniversary, I have never opened it, thought it would be cool to save, you just reminded me.. I have a 100 anniversary Ford coke 6pk I need to put out there.. from 2003! I knew the steering shaft would not make it lol
New sub here..!! I love what I'm seeing. I look forward to learning more from you. Thanks for posting these videos. Much appreciated . I have a question... what is a good starting point for the sandpaper grades.?? Also,.. are you using auto part store paper.? or is it something specifically made for model cars.? Thanks
Thanks Tim, appreciate it! Depending on the paint job I like to start with 2000 or 2500 and finish with 5000 and up, I use automotive paper, it a better bang for the buck, I get my microfiber towels at Sam's Club, best deal. The 3M Trizact comes as one sheet little pricey well worth it.. Have a good one!
My patience with decals has never been good. I applaud yours!
Kreg, Enjoy this series and pretty sure I have learnt something from it. As for the length of the videos, I' happy with it as I'm learning from them

Looking great! My favorite part of building is doing decals and bare metal foil.
Decaling suck but they look great when done lol 😆! They're looking great Kreg ❤
Thanks Shawn, I was surprised the one decale broke turned out ok in the end..

Thanks Warren, starting to come around nice, getting close to wrapping it up..
Love the way decals look on a kit but it sucks when they don't go well.

Thank you for sharing; Do the decals need a Gloss Surface to adhere to?
Nop, I usually wet sand then decal and clear over all.
