The Lord Jesus is our righteousness and standing with God and we truly do know God once He has brought us from death to life. We do not know Him perfectly in this life, but we do know Him if we have been brought to Him through Christ. Our sin does condemn us and separate us, yes. We are all under God's wrath and judgement outside of Christ. But do not forget that God loves His people and Christ has reconciled the Believer to God. If we are truly born again and trusting in Christ, we know God and that will manifest itself in our lives by our words, works, lifestyle and habits.
As much as I desire to one day see Paul Washer speak in person, I far more desire to be captivated by the preaching of any layman who clearly speaks the Word of God
Well, today I decided to binge listen the sermons on my downloads (99%) being Paul Washer's 😌 and everytime I listen to any of his sermons, no matter how many times, the impressions they leave in my soul is always something new. I asked for resources for affiliate churches, hoping to find closer. They gave me 3 resources, I think 2 were academic and 1 was denomination but don't quote me, I'd have to verify in my email. All 3 sources produced the same results. I'm in the center of a void. The closest affiliate church to me using the resources of the closest advertised expositional church is in fact that church. There are a couple others that are 1.5-2 hours away. I have shifted my prayers from finding a church to God bringing a godly church here. I live in rural NW Pennsylvania
